Remarks

i chose icat design and media College because it is one of the best vfx College in India. U get a great exposure from the college they allow you to be free as an artist. If you want to work in films as a vfx artist or vfx director college will help you out in every means possible. Faculties are friendly and always ready to help.

Course Curriculum Overview

You'll get a good idea about the field work,college conducts workshops and seminars with industrial professionals,students get enough experience. As faculties are concerned our HOD name is Rahul kumar singh is he well experienced and very friendly always there to help.he teaches in a way like no one can teach, as current scenario in film industry visual affects are magic of spices blended with camera work and you will get to learn a lot about it.he has the potential to bring out the true artist in you.

Mpc,framework,red chilli and many other production have visited college for placement. alumni are doing great in the industry many of them have worked under big production house and have done work in good movies.

Campus Life

haven't focused on sports so have no idea about sports but yaa you'll get every book related to your course in the library. Labs and studios are well maintained and always available for shoutings and for work sessions. Wifi is pretty good.

Facility is very qualified. Faculties from IIM are also there. They are very friendly. They gives us extra support and mentorship after class also
College infrastructure is also good. Full of greenery amd calm environment and location is aldo good.
Placement is also good. And ROI is also good as per the fees.

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic. And hostel timing is also short for returning.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also there 240+ recruiters come for campus placements. Average package is 8 to 9 lakhs and highest package is 17 lakh. We have Industry trajectory programme with big 4 like Kpmg GT etc

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good

It was good professors and friendly teaching staff
Campus life is good, it provide new opportunities and has events and various clubs
Everyone here are good and friendly and is a lovely place to study

Dislikes

Hospital is far from college, which is again not an issue as they send bus service
It can give and provide more opportunities
Hostel facilities can be improved and they can build few more lecture halls

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Good ranking of college among other private colleges of India
Best location of college in the silicon valley of India
Various opportunities of internship to students

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

The eligibility of the course is to have 60% and above in your 10th and 12th. An aptitude test and interview were taken during the admission process. My year of admission was during the COVID-19 pandemic, so all the application form, aptitude test and interviews were online or call-based.
