Remarks

The college has good records of placement in the CSE dept and IT dept. Many big MNCs come for placement which is not common among other private institutions. The infrastructure is also good and improving. The food is great.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is quite good here. Forex:smrutirekha Mohanty her concepts are crystal clear and the mode of presentation is also good. The curriculum is also updated in our institution and in the first year, things are quite relaxed.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are good Amazon Deloitte visit every year with few students placed in day 0 companies like Google Adobe placement record is good.

College Events

4.5

Campus life is restricted for Freshers. But from second year onwards campus life is quite good. The institution has various societies to help hone your skills and put your talent in proper use. Like dance society photography society etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The toppers of each branch and semester get scholarships which is a good amount of about 10000 per month.

Campus Life

The college has 12 swimming pools including a huge one. The sports facilities are quite good each hostel area has a separate sports complex with trained staffs. The campus has a huge library with separate libraries for each of the departments.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I have. Hostel facilities are quite good except for too many restrictions for Freshers. Food is good and the laundry services are also good. The cleaning service is also up to the mark. But again restrictions are there which sometimes makes it very difficult to stay in hostels.

Hostel Fee: INR 140000 per year

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

I did not apply for other colleges. Before getting admission in KIIT I did hear good reviews about the college and placements here so I applied for the CSE course here. The admission process for KIIT University is simple. You have to register and give the KIITEE exam and based on your exam percentile and your 12th percentage you get selected. REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
