Remarks

I find zoology as one of the interesting courses to pursue my career. It has many opportunities. Fest and events are organised occasionally, and scholarships are provided to meritorious students. Extracurricular activities are also conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers here are well qualified and very knowledgeable. They help with proper notes and help with doubts. Our course is relevant for all upcoming exams. It helps us to have a tour. The process of teaching is also very good.

Course Fees: INR 21000 per year

Placement Experience

We don't get placements here as no certain institutions visit here for placements process. After graduation, we have to search for different job opportunities on our own for our career. Certain examinations are conducted through which we can opt for more elaborate courses like M.Sc. Simultaneously we are offered jobs.

College Events

The infrastructure of our college is Good, and there are proper classrooms and proper departments for all courses. Especially, the Zoology department is good with avails facilities in the lab with specimens and instruments. The quality of the food served in the hostel is average, but the canteen food is good. Sports and games are played every month. Medical facilities are available readily.

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

The excellent university of odisha

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I don't have any specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose this course . The hands on projects have helped me to understand the practical use of the concept. Opportunities for collaboration and feedback from professionals from the industy will increase the learning application. Per semester the frequency of exam is 3 . The difficulty level is not that much as it is in the semester .

Placement Experience:

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.

Best Women's College

First I applied for Utkal University for my PG in life scene but didn't get into due to less mark in my entrance examination. Also, the no. of seats for life Science is limited there. After that, I get qualified for RDWU for my PG. The admission criteria for PG id provided based on the score of entrance examination following Viva and career marks. Based on these criteria I get qualified for the free seat which involves a fee of only 2500 rupees for the first year.
