Review about Pgdav

Good thing was that its admission criteria were on merit-based not entrance based and its faculty I very very good and infrastructure is also good and cultural activities are also done time to time for the betterment of the students. The admission process was on merit base they just calculate best 4 subject marks of 12th class that's it if you come in the said cut off list then congratulations you are selected. As I already stated above the good qualities that also for preferring this college over others and one more thing that no attendance burden is there you can get admit card even on 0 attendance. I choose this course because I had commerce in my intermediate and I was interested in commerce so I chose this course. Faculty of this college was good and very good some teachers were very rude and everyone. The principal was also rude his behaviour towards students was not polite everyone was afraid to talk to him on any issue and I think that's was not a good sign of any principal of any college or school he should change himself. Student ratio was 50:50 as there were so many girls in my college and my section also. Qualification of the faculty was good as all were very qualified and having good degrees and there's teaching method was not so good there were some teacher's that they used good technique to explain things and others were just useless. Term exams were very timely and it was not very difficult to pass it except some subjects like mathematics Accounts subjects.

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. EY, Wipro, Amazon, Flipkart etc are Some companies who visited the campus for placement and I think 200-300 profiles were offered by them. 15-20% of the students got placed. I have planned to prepare for UPSC after getting the degree.

Fees hike policy was not there and cost to study was not very high. College gives some scholarship to needy one's some financial help. No job I got on campus to get a job there was very much tough competition.

Annual fest name was Jashn e rekta that holds usually in February of every year. Tech fest also in April of every year. Almost every book was available in the library and journals were very few. Amenities in classrooms were available except AC. Sports and extracurricular activities were also held every year on the campus. PGDAV NSS, pgdav helpline, pgdav confession etc. is the social group for students run by students.
