Remarks

No bad remark against academics but we should get more internet access in the college.

Entrance Preview

I had given CET for my admission to DBIT but I applied directly to the college rather than using DTE or CAP rounds.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Now from my batch onwards, the syllabus has changed to make it more on the field rather than being stuck with the book the whole time. lots of project work which help ur individual as well as in a group. Basically it more of a practical study rather than having an only theory so most of the lectures genuinely become more interesting.

Internships Opportunities

I am yet to experience the summer internship phase but again based on passed batches I can say that they are pretty good and helpful for the students in their respective fields.

Placement Experience

3

I have no idea on the placements of the college but according to past batches I have come to an understanding that the best placements come in for Marketing compared to any other field. Yes we as students help with getting appropriate job profiles for our fellow colleagues.

College Events

4.5

As of now there are no events that are hosted by DBIT-MMS but they do encourage us to go n participate in events hosted by other colleges But we are planning on some events to be hosted by us starting from this year onwards It will take us time to set up but I am sure that it will be a success.

Fee Structure And Facilities

No the fee structure is not that expensive it is as per the required guidelines of DTE which generally sets the fee structure for all MMS colleges And according to me it is pretty affordable comparatively It mostly all set DTE so the college plays minimum or no roll in the fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there was a scholarship that was offered for only finance students but very few students who needed it had applied n have got it also.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratio the girls in number are less compared to boys but that isn't of a big concern politics is not with the students as we make it a very positive atmosphere for everyone. We focus on helping each other grow as professionals it is very friendly atmosphere and we always look to encourage each other to do better.

Hostel Facilities

3

Don Bosco for MMS doesn't provide a hosted but yes we do have a canteen which provides everything but the food is not that good as we expect it to be Certain aspects of the canteen have to be changed but mostly everyone tends to bring their own lunch from home.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are helpful in most matters overall and both seniors n juniors gel together well as we are a very small group of management students we help out each other as much as possible.

Exam Structure

Speaking for the 1st years we have good papers with strict corrections and our papers for the 1st year is conducted by DBIT-MMS themselves so the professors point out our mistakes and help us with how to write proper answers we have pretty hard paper which are more practical rather than being just text book questions.

Admission

I had applied directly to the college for their institute level seats and it is a small batch of 45 students the college staff helped me through the process of admission. Yes you do still have to give CET paper and follow all the procedures of DTE guide lines but in that manner the administrative staff is pretty helpful when it was my case.

Faculty

3.5

We have a very strong set of faculty which provide us with a lot of expertise in the field of management let it be for finance, marketing, HR, IT or operations which help us guide or shape our know how and also share their experiences in the field and how they have achieved their targets.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
