Remarks

Placements are decent in this college. I love the infrastructure of my college. Some of my seniors also suggested to me for this college. The location of this college is awesome. There are many extra co-curricular activities in this college. It is actually one of the best colleges for pursuing BCA. It's a well-known and reputed college. I am happy to have such a college where teachers are cooperative with students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are very competitive which forces the student to put on more focus towards the studies. Our curriculum is also updated from time to time. Internal assignments and projects in every semester are done by students. The faculty for BCA in BVIMR is really interactive and has really a lot of knowledge of subjects as well. I was provided enough industrial exposure in this college.

Placement Experience

4

The overall placements to our department is decent. Approximately 50 to 60% students get placed in IT companies or in TCS. From 3rd year, the students become eligible for the placements. The famous companies that come to our college every year are TCS, Ashok Leyland, L & T, HCL, and many more. The highest package in our branch is 6 LPA and the minimum is 3 LPA and the average is 4 LPA.

College Events

4.5

The social annual gathering, sports week, national science day program, paper presentation conference and much more. The campus life is just awesome. The annual fest probably hold in the month of December and the tech fest in June. One can participate in many occasions to earn rewards and prices. The tech fest in our college is one of the biggest of all fests. Many famous singers come and perform every year and make the fest superb.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good and covers important technical subjects. I choose IT because I was interested in computers and technology. It provides basic practical knowledge through lab work and projects, which is helpful for further studies. It can be improved by adding more latest technologies and practical learning. There are 2 unit tests in each semester followed by the final end sem exam. Exams are mostly moderate in difficulty.
