It's a science degree for an economic course. The course comprises both quantitative aspects and theory. It is very much in line to the course of international universities, making one fit to join one in future.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very well structured. However, there are certain subjects which require to be updated. Also, there are some subjects like Indian Economics which could have been more interesting if taken from a practical approach.
Internships Opportunities
I have done three internships as of now. Two of them were work from home. No stipend included.
Placement Experience
The placement process depends a lot on the company. However, sone common aspects are aptitude test, technical interview and hr interview. There are a mix of companies that come for placements. Some offering a decent package, while some offering a package which is not that great.
College Events
The campus life is great. Though our campus is small, it has hosted a lot of successful events. The college hostel is very spacious and makes it very convenient for the hostel students as it is inside the campus. The hostel mess is also decent. We have events hosted especially for hostelites.
Fees and Financial Aid
The topper gets a scholarship every year. It's basically an off on the tuition fee.There are some more but I can't recall them at the moment.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is not that great. This is the biggest disadvantage here. There are no sports facilities. We need to visit other grounds for playing. We have good air conditioned classrooms. The library is not that big but has required books. Our online library is better equipped.
Hostel Facilities
Answered that in the above question itself.The college hostel is very spacious and makes it very convenient for the hostel students as it is inside the campus. The hostel mess is also decent. We have events hosted especially for hostelites.
