Remarks

The teaching faculty is very good as well as teaching. You will get a good placement irrespective of your group if you have a CGPA of above 7.0 and good communication skills. The study is on par with NIT. But less importance is given to sports and extra-curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The faculty is very good and have a lot of experience. The teaching methods are very interactive and students are equally exposed to practical learning. Faculty to student ratio is 1: 20. I chose ECE because it has good faculty and I'm pretty much interested in it. Qualification of faculty is minimum m-tech. Teaching is interactive. Exams are a little tough but if you follow the daily classes and prepare fairly then you can score well. Two internals and one external theory exams are held for each semester. There are no cons in terms of study and curriculum.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The companies which come to placement provide internships also. Also, the college gives suggestions to join internships. In the final year, you can do a major project or you can do an internship. You can do an internship for the company you placed or you can find an internship outside. The college will give you aid in this matter.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students are eligible for placements in the 7th and 8th semester who are having above 6.0 CGPA are allowed for placements. It is also based on the company requirement. A lot of companies visit the college. The placement percentage of CSE, ECE departments is always above 90 percent with good package. The remaining group's placement percentage is above 75-85 percent. I got placed in 4 companies and I plan on to join one of those.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 97000 per year and it might increase. If you got below 10000 ranks in eamcet. You can get full reimbursement from the state government. This is valid only if you belong to Telangana state and based on your caste and whether your parents have a government job. If you got above 95 percent in your intermediate or +2 then you are eligible for a national scholarship you have to apply it personally.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is good. There will be fest held every year for three days project expo on the first day, a traditional day on second and DJ night on the third day. There are a lot of clubs like dance, professional, singing etc. There is a central library which has a lot of books you can borrow books on library cards. Every year sports are held for all the groups and we can participate in them. Prizes for those sports are given during the fest. There is a student welfare cell in the college.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

There is no hostel maintained by the college but you can join in private hostel nearby college in Langer house area. There are many hostels of them Akshaya hostel, psr hostel and Ganesh hostel are good. The facilities in these hostels are good and the food is also good. Of that three Akshaya is best. It is also maintained by the student welfare member of the college. If you want to stay in room there are bachelor rooms available in the area but they're little costly.

Interview Experience

4.5

There is no GD or interview for admission. It's purely based on your eamcet rank. If you want admission through B- a category it depends on your JEE rank. You can get admission through NRI quota but the seats are few for each class like 10 or so. The fee will be different for NRI quota students and B-cat students have to pay 97000 per year. You have to go to college with your certificates and fill necessary details during admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
