Remarks
Good thing is that KIIT has a huge campus extension and a very kind livelihood as well. The decorum is well maintained there and the campus infrastructure is just mesmerizing. And the bad thing is that when you are in the first year and a female student you ought to suffer a bit in hostel timings and also in your attire which is all total a traditional and outdated one, salwar suit with dupatta and you have to wear it for 1st year. And you will not be allowed to step outside as well for buying any basic necessities. There will be a person, a male member popularly known as "bhaina" who will buy you everything written on paper in the hostel itself. And you will not be allowed to go outside. College timings are from 8 to 6. The entry time from college to the hostel is at sharp at 6 pm. The admission process is through kiit entrance exam "KIITEEE" and you will necessary updates through your reg mail id.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as it is most preferred by the seniors as well. And anyone who has an interest in electrical machines and electronic devices may prefer going here as its faculties are highly qualified and talented, they have a huge interest in giving their best to students and the interesting thing is whenever you need any sort of help you can contact them easily with a contact number or mail id. Without any fear. It's very easy to pass the exam. Mid sem is of 20 marks so passing is obvious 10, and endsem is of 50 marks in which passing is 25.
Placement Experience
From the final year that is 4th year the campus placement starts. Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Capgemini were among tech companies and business companies including startups such as unschool, climber and planet spark.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees for 4 years of BTech is 16 lacks excluding your hostel fees. Cost to study is very high as its a private college with all the facilities in college classrooms with air-conditioned classrooms and smart class off course and a projector also. They also have sap portal where you only need to give the biometric outside the electronics campus and voila your attendance will be saved in the portal which will be your attendance register.
Campus Life
Yes, the KIIT fest is organized every year in dec after or before Christmas. Its a very amazing experience for a get together as many celebrities including Tapsee Pannu, Zakir khan, darshan Rawal had been invited to the KIIT fest, if you are a kiitian then you must attend it. Availability of books and journals in the library is very good. All types of books are available, air-conditioned classrooms and ppt based teaching, dance club at kiit is eklavya and many others.
