Remarks
SKIT is ranked No. 1 among all RTU affiliated colleges. Also, the college is located in my hometown. So I had chosen this college. Reason for preferring the college- Teachers are highly dedicated and well qualified. College focus on all over the development of students. Infrastructure and placement record is really good. The admission process was through a reaped application form. I referred quora for reviews and some other sites or blogs.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course based on my interest. The faculty-student ratio is 1:28. And all the faculties are well qualified in their respective fields from reputed colleges and universities. All of them are always ready to solve any problem faced by the students. At periods of 6 months examination are taken which can be passed from all the things taught in the class mostly and with the help notes and books referred by the teachers.
Internships Opportunities
Internship and Training opportunities are quite good. Some companies included are TCS, Infosys etc. These are quite good and help us in learning and overall development. Students are made to do some good projects and students gain a vast experience in their college life before facing real industries.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from 3rd year onwards. And the in-campus placements are good and offers various opportunities. Many companies like Infosys, TCS, Capgemini etc. visits campus to offer job opportunities to students. Around 95% of students secure a job in well-reputed companies every year. Highest package of college is around 12 lakhs and the lowest one is of 3-4 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of the college are okay and affordable. Fees of my course are around 4 lakhs for the whole 4 years excluding transportation fees. Transportation fees vary from the bus stoppages, their distance from the college. Various scholarship schemes are also there which can be availed according to the eligibility, based upon the score, merit, family position, total family income etc.
Campus Life
There are various clubs and societies for students of all fields and interests, like technical clubs, dance club, docu-drama club etc. You get to learn various things in these clubs. Also, there are clubs for personality development. The college organises PRAVAH it's an annual fest and AAVEG the sports meet to promote sportsmanship among students. The library here is also good and had various books and journals, which can be referred to for studying. Classrooms are spacious enough and are also having projectors attached.
