Remarks

Yeah I like to impress on facts that for first year students on duty is limited. That I want the management to take note of for it is the learning curve for many.

Entrance Preview

Actually as most engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu affiliated to Anna univ the admission is based on 12th board exam marks and TNEA rank list.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As I am in my first year of college I do not know much about our college syllabus from second year. Our college has opted to follow cbcs - choice based credit system from this year. Hence we have liberty to choose our staffs from second year on to impart good quality education to us.

Internships Opportunities

Yes my college provide internship opportunities from the eighth semester. I don't have any reliable source for the stipend.

Placement Experience

3.5

In my department, out of 76 eligible candidates about 55 have got placed leaving placement ratio about 75%. Many reputed it majors such as Infosys, cognizant, zoho, Amazon visit our campuses regularly. They offer packages between between 3.2 to 6.75 lakhs an annum.

College Events

3.5

Many technical symposiums, workshops with association of many reputed organisations like IIT Bombay are conducted. Cultural events are preferences and sports events are given much importance. Swagatam and much more fest's make extra curricular a focus in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is not too less or high. It is moderate. The general fee structure for my college is 81,000 rupees for first year. As my course is accredited by NBA the tuition fees is 45,000 with other fees like book fees extra. For management students it shoots to more than 1 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided by government of tamilnadu and the college provides some additional prizes for motivation. Our college allows student loan facilities also.

Campus Life

3.5

Talking about these, I would say gender ratio is a bit skewed with app. Boys to girls ratio of 60:40. Workshops are usually conducted more than five times a month. Other ethnic people are many in our college. Economic status of many studying in this college are either upper or lower middle class.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I am not an hosteller but a day scholar. As far as I have heard the accommodation facilities are good. The TV facilities is not great. But WiFi connectivity is proper with no distortions. Average hostel rental for an year is ₹72000. The mess facilities need to be improved for the best.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college alumni network is one of the best I reckon. Because there are many active contributors. They help us through the placement interviews with mock interview also.

Exam Structure

Starting with august for first year odd sem internal 1 Oct 1st week, internal 2 Nov 3rd week, objective test Nov 1st week. Then semester begins from december. Practicals begin from Nov end. Exam structure is external 60%, internal 40%. Practicals internal 75%, external 25%. Usually we have lab 3 days a week. The day is normally loaded.

Admission

You have to apply online in Ana univ website from mid-April ( as of last year ) with notification also being released around the same time. The counselling administration was satisfactory. I got admission in the government quota. Counselling is usually based on single-window method. The rank list is based upon 12th board exam marks obtained. 69% reservation followed by govt. of Tamil nadu is followed.

Faculty

3

Most of the faculty in our college are too dedicated with many staffs undergoing rigorous staff improvement workshops also. My department is unique with many dedicated teachers who guides us through various thorns of life. But the 1st year could be a little irritating with other department staffs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
