Remarks

This is one of the best engineering college affiliated with AKTU. I got admission through upsee counselling on 21st Nov 2020. This college provides you best facilities including academics, fests, events, cultural programs, internships. The Campus size is large and very beautiful. I used collegedunia and siksha platform for finding the facilities of this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I want to be a software engineer that's why I chose this course. Faculty: student ratio is 1:6 Faculty is above average, most of them have a masters degree. They teach in such a way that students understand easily. There are sessional tests which held two times in a semester, pre University exam held one time and then final semester held. If anyone study for the exam he or she will easily get good marks.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 143000 per year

Placement Experience

There are many companies visited on the campus which provide decent placements. 80% of students get placed during placements. I want to run my own business after the degree. The lowest package is 3lakh/ year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship in college which is only for whose families have less than 2lakh income. For those who have more than 2 lakh average, there is no scholarship for them.

Campus Life

There are many societies in the college named taal, goonj, and many more. College life us best in this college. Infrastructure is awesome. There is a lot of books available in the library. Classrooms are lecture theatre types which are good. There are many social groups run by students who solve social issues. You can check the college official website to check socities and college life.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel infrastructure is very nice. Hostel facilities and also good. They provide many services like hot water facilities, study tables, beds and many more. Meals are good. The location around the college is good. There are many PGs available near the college. Academic fees are 1 lakh 43 thousand & hostel fees is 1 lakh 10 thousand for single seater.

Hostel Fee: INR 110000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
