My college experience

The good thing about SKIT is the environment it provides to its students. it provides good placement, well-qualified teacher and much more. The admission process is quite simple. After giving the BTech exam and gain the results and scores of the exam, the student needs to apply for various colleges in various institutes of different states. after choosing a particular state apply for the different institute and then go for the best one. This institute goes through a PI session and asks you for the course you want to enrol in. If the scores are above average set by the college then the college allows for the admission process. The reason for preferring this college over other is the placements provided and the fees structure of this college. I used the Rajasthan university site for proffering the college here and applying for the same course.

I wanted to become a Software developer in future. So for the purpose of this, we need to go for the BTech in Software Engineering. I have a keen interest in learning computer languages and to explore more about digital life, so I choosed this cource. Faculty to student ratio is very less. My class has approximately 120 students and the teachers are only 7-8. So the ratio of students coming under one teacher is very high. every teacher needs to concentrate on 9 students consecutively to maintain the working conditions. The teachers are qualified, some have completed their masters in different specialization and some others are well motivated to have hold degrees in the specialized course too. The exams are easy not that much difficult but yes the semester's exams of few subjects are difficult to handle.

The placements are well and good. Students become eligible from the 7th semester for applying to the placement programs. there are various companies visited for the placement. some of them include Infosys, Walmart, Tata group, Wipro, In Time Tec, Genpact etc. There are several startups started by the students as well which allow some placements too. The highest package was offered in the mechanical department for 16 lakh per annum but the average placement is about 4.5 LPA. each department has there owned placement procedure and incomes provided differently. The percent of students getting placed is about 70%. Rest students either go for government jobs or prefer for higher studies in their fields. My current goal is to get placed with an average package but an increase in future accordingly. Also, I am working on a startup on how to shift towards renewable resources.

The fees hike policy remainders constant for the past 5 years. the fees remain to fix during the annual growth. It is approximately 1 LPA per year. These fees include the tuition fees as well as the hostel's fees to cost to study is low when we compare different colleges of Rajasthan all together. The on-campus job includes various responsibilities as managing fests, organizing events etc. The scholarships are only for those who love to enjoy everything and have a very low income as compared to otherss.

The annual fest is held every year in December in the automobile department for making the automobiles using technology. Books are available in the library. Also, apart from the book they provide WiFi connections to the whole library so that student use it for studying purpose. The library also confrontation some journals to read. Their classrooms are well decorated and cleaned before the starting of the session. the chairs are attached to one another to make the students seat comfortably. Most of the classrooms are becoming digital from the basic class. Sports fest are held every month and then selected for the state level and international level. Sports include volleyball, basketball and football. There are several groups started by the students. These groups include the tech and automobile departments.
