Mona Manaswini's Review On Ravenshaw University - [RU], Cuttack

I was a science student and later I realised science is not my platform. I was interested in business and management so I opted for BBA. Ravenshaw University is one of the good college in Odisha. I like the environment in the campus and the faculty here is very good. That's the main reason behind my decisions to join this college.

We really had good faculties. We had regular classes. Syllabus is quite up to date as per the industry is considered. Industrial exposure is quite less for BBA students as compared to MBA students. Dr. Shradhanjali Panda, she is one of the best teacher in our department.

Yes, I was doing Internship with pie rooms as social media marketing intern. Also I was doing Internship with International MUN as a campus ambassador. Also I was doing Internship with JOBSKUL as a HR INTERN. And I am currently doing internship with aashman foundation as HR intern.

Placement and job opportunities are good. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Deloitte visited our campus. If there are placements taking place outside of our city, our college Provides us with all the details.

Campus Life was good. University organize various events related to sports, also every department has their own sports Meet. During University sports meet we have food fest, where students from different departments prepare food and sell it and the best one wins a prize. Our college also organises functions on puja day's like Saraswati Puja and Ganesh Puja.

Campus infrastructure is very good. In my classroom we had projector, fan, AC, lights, every class is well furnished. We had clean washrooms, with proper supply of water. Also we had water coolers for drinking purpose in every department. Even the hostel are well maintained.

I opted for hostel. I had to share my room with 2 more students. Everyday, every floor of the hostel was cleaned twice including the washrooms. Each floor has their own water cooler and one induction too. In the hostel We had our computer room, study room, tv room and dining room. We had our mess in the ground floor.
