Remarks

I came to know about this college while searching a engineering college nearby Jammu. I came to know about this college and the reviews about the college were also really good. The fees is also not so high.

Course Curriculum Overview

All the professors are good but some of them have less experience of teaching, so require to ask the topic personally in cabin which are skipped in classroom. Syllabus followed here is of IIT Delhi and updated regularly.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 595000 per year

Placement Experience

Because of it's location you can find natural beauty but these off side location makes on campus placement a bit dim. Salary package offered here is 4.6lakh/annum and highest package is 17lakh/year. About 80% student among the selected sit for placement was job offered.

College Events

Campus life is awesome. Many extra activity are organised like yoga, dance, music, theater and NSS. All the staffs and teachers are very supportive and location is heaven. You can find in campus first aid center, grocery and all. Hospital is just 100m away from campus.

My university's infrastructure is better than even the IIT Jammu and other college. Classroom have all necessary things which are required like smart board projector lecture, theater, fully air condensed classroom, fully plastic free and clean campus.

i liked the overall infrastructure of the university and their teaching
it is asias largest university with a refreashing eniviorment
the teching methodology is best with best use of teaching aids

some teachers are not friendly and very rude
st are given more paferance with regard to fee
st and sc have to score less in inter university test

the curriculam was learner friendly it mostly pursuits for acadimic not real world .yes we can use audio visal aids and flied triep .the timing of exam was in late evening of winter it was difficult for some students to reach on time.

My opinion about nit

Likes

I like the diversity and culture of college students come from all states each festival is celebrated with fun .
The infrastructure is good providing facilities like library, amphitheatre, auditorium etc.
I like college ground where we can walk and relieve from academics

Dislikes

College infrastructure can be improved in rainy season there is water accumulation at many places , water drainage system should be there .

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

Likes

College campus is best as we enter the college
Spending time with friends at the campus in free tym is just like awesome
All facilities are available in campus playground, swimming , library etc.

Dislikes

Canteen is small according to student population
Sitting space in canteen is not as much gud
Some appliances are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all, I had taken science in my 12th too, that is why I wanted to continue in science and due to my interest in physics and chemistry, I continued in this course. The curriculum provides me with Whatever is sufficient in my course and whatever knowledge I need, I will have more than that. Exam timing should be in the afternoon only because morning gets very late in coming due to which exam gets skipped, rest it is perfect

Likes

Faculty is very nice and the way they teaches us is outstanding
I like the campus beauty my college campus is very mesmerizing and maintainance is great
I like the fee structure of my college it is very affordable

Dislikes

I don't like timetables of my college the time table they made for classes is not suitable for us
There is not digitalized classes in our college..only few class rooms have this system
No heating system for winters in classrooms as well as in Libra

I am currently doing my BA Hons in political science. It was my aim to pursue my degree in political science since my childhood.. political science has a very good scope and it is also very interesting subject ...we can exercise politics in day to day life also

Admission:

You just have to appear for the neet examination. And once you get selected you ll be able get an admission in the college. The syllabus for neet xam is class 11 and 12. One should be able to score above 500 out of 720.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students. I don't get any rejection from any other colleges....Read More
