Advantages 1.Placement is almost 90% in CSE 2.Average package is 4.5 lakh p.a. in CSE 3.Highest package is 11 lakh Disadvantage 1.campus is too small 2.placed in rural areas 3.Hostel is not available Admission is based on the WBJEE score and JEE main score through WBJEE counseling after the release of results of both. The reason for taking admission in this college is the placement of the CSE stream is approximately better than another college in Kolkata
Course Curriculum Overview
I am very interested to pursue my career in the software world. The teacher and student ratio is 1:60. Most of the faculties are PhD and highly experienced. Term exams are held very timely and the difficulty level of the exams are easy for those who study seriously in the class and difficult for those who are not serious in the class
Placement Experience
From 7th sem, students become eligible for campus placement. TCS, Infosys, IBM are giving more placement 71/120 in CSE are placed so far. 9 lakh high package goes so far this year 3 lakh lowest package goes this year so far. 60% of students of the CSE stream have placed so far. Data given is 31.12.2020 My plan after my degree is to work in any MNC as a software developer.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of the College is high in the first year while the total fees of 4 years are 393000. Fee hikes are totally governed by the state govt of West Bengal. Many scholarships are given to the students of West Bengal as TFW(Tuition Fee Waiver), girls scholarship, etc. This is under the state govt of West Bengal and I came from Bihar. so,I haven't got any scholarships.
Campus Life
Tech Fest is organized every year in this college. There are different types of books of the different streams are available in the library. Daily newspapers, weekly magazines as well as old newspapers are also available in the library. There are so many clubs run by the students of this college as Phoenix,Lensified,Pyprus etc
