Remarks

I had got low marks on the CBSE board and due to covid I didn't write JEE Mains, still, I got admission to this college. I had applied for this college in July 2020, via the SRM website by filling an online form and by august I got a selection in this collage. I would prefer this collage for those students with low marks. I had my relatives studying in this college and also I had seen collage reviews on reputed sites such as collagedunia.com.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the CSE core branch as I love coding also I want to become a software engineer. Even there are a lot of opportunities for CSE students. The course curriculum os is quite relevant as mentioned on the website of SRM. The faculty member is very knowledgable and friendly, they clear all doubts and teaching are average. There are 68 students and 8 teachers in my class. Five Class Tests are conducted every month and one-semester exam are conducted each semester which are of average difficulties, the majority of questions are MCQ.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 220000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

Students from the 6th semester are usually eligible for campus placements. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Infotech etc. Last year more than 65% of students had got placements from our campus. The highest package is 34 lakh per annum, the average package is 8-9 lakhs per annum and the lowest package is 2 lakhs per annum. My plan is to get a placement in a good company with a good package.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of one year are collected in advance tuition fee is 1 lakh per semester and the other fee is rs15000 per semester, thus total fees are 2.3 Lakhs per year to be paid in advance. I am not sure of the fee hike policy. There are many scholarships conducted on SRM based on merits and abilities which offer up to 100% off on tuition fees. The SRM campus has many. I am currently in the second semester.

Campus Life

4.5

MILAN 20 is the annual fest conducted for a week every year on our campus by students. There is also a freshers party and farewell party conducted every year. SRM campus has a library consisting of all kinda books where students can sit and read or lend books. All classrooms are AC'ed and have enough space. There are many clubs on our campus and students can join more than one clubs. On our campus, all kinda sports facilities are provided. There are also inter-college sports competition held every year.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

I applied for the JEE Mains exam but I had no preparation for it, I did no coaching for any engineering entrance exam, which lead to great anxiety during the JEE exam, this lead to me not achieving a great score in the exam. I was accepted into Christ University and Vellore Institute of Technology but the NIRF rank of SRM compelled me to join here. This campus being close to my hometown was the perfect choice for me. The admission process is really straightforward and I do not need to even describe it here it is soooooo simple....Read More
