Remarks

It has well infrastructure and placement is 90%. I was needing the Computer Science branch so I preferred KIIT. The college will allow the seats according to ur ranks on KIITEE. I love this as it is in my own state.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I am comfortable with my course. Teachers are well trained and they teach us well. Mid-semester occurs once during the semester and the end sem takes place at the last. I love this system of KIIT.

Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

No idea regarding this. Minor projects and major projects are required. Internship to be taken under good companies and will think about it in the third year.

Placement Experience

From the third semester, almost the student is capable of campus placement. Amazon, Infosys, High radius, Intel, Byjus etc. Highest package 20-30 lakhs. Lowest package of 3-4 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are alright because they provide 100% placement and very well campus also. Some people rank good position in KIITEE and they have some profits in fees structure of KIITEE. Not got it yet, I am in my second year now.

Campus Life

KIITFEST takes place every year in the month of December and we enjoy that. books are available in the central library of KIIT and KIIT has created a new library that is awesome. Sports like cricket, football, volleyball matches take place every year. Many social groups are there for dance, song, social works also.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are clean and safe. A big window is present and they provide a bed, bed sheets and pillow. They also provided us with blankets. The meal quality is good. Contact the authority. No locality friends nearby rented room.

Hostel Fee: INR 65000 per year

Interview Experience

Yes, we face gd in classes only. Even MUN takes place mostly for making students more accurate with their ways of thinking. I had not participated till now, because of our corona vacation, I will attend it soon.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

The admission process for KIIT University is simple. You have to register and give the KIITEE exam and based on your exam percentile and your 12th percentage you get selected. REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
