Remarks
KIIT is one of the biggest private university. It has a good infrastructure. The professor is always available for the help of the student through message or call. I prefer this university because of getting a CSE branch. The environment of study is good there is no any type of ragging is done by seniors. Seniors always help us. Activities like dancing, singing, gaming, photography etc are done virtually during corona time.
Course Curriculum Overview
For CSE, In 1 year we have to study Maths, Physics, Chemistry, PCOM, AEC, BEE, biology, C programing. and also labs are running according to the subject. We have to give two exams in a year with a period of 5 months i.e 8 semesters is happening in 4 years of course. We get our exam result through the sap portal.
Internships Opportunities
It's good if you want to just want to add it to your resume but, if you really want to go for an Internship (and not just the usual boring classroom lectures) or want to get a feel of how actually things are done in real-world when they are ready to intake for the internships. You can also try for an opportunity with one of your own dream companies so that you get to know what you will be signing for (if you get placed in that company).
Placement Experience
4200 job offers were made to 3750 BTech students. Approximately 750 students got placed in top-notch companies. 1720 students were placed on Day Zero of placement. Highest CTC offered was Rs 39 lakh by Adobe Systems. Average CTC offered was Rs 6 Lakh. 18 companies offered a CTC of Rs 10 Lakh and 60 companies offered a CTC of Rs 5 Lakh and more. Top recruiter was Accenture with 654 job offers, followed by Wipro and Cognizant.
Fees and Financial Aid
Per semester fee for cse is 175000 and hostel fee is according to your choice. If you want to study at this university through an education loan then the university provides a fee structure and you have to apply for a loan.
Campus Life
About KIIT Fest KIIT FEST is a three-day Annual techno-cultural college fest of KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. It is one of the largest Festivals of the Eastern paradise of India. The year 2019 will witness the 6th edition of KIITFEST and shall take place from 16th to 18th of December.
Hostel Facilities
There are separate hostels for boys and girls with round-the-clock wireless internet and intranet connectivity. About 30% of the hostel rooms are air-conditioned. All the hostels have attached canteens serving good quality Indian and Continental foods. A dedicated international hostel accommodates foreign students.
Interview Experience
You can take admission by giving its entrance exam or by JEE Mains. Branches will be provided according to your rank. For giving entrance exam you have to study according to your JEE Mains syllabus but the level of the exam is lower than JEE Mains.
