It is one of the oldest B-School that is there among Tier 1 and Tier 2 colleges because of which most of the companies that go in IIMs for hiring, visit IMT Ghaziabad. I received calls from a few of the New IIMs but didn't want to go there as placement wise IMT is far better than most of the IIMs.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum provides a holistic experience of learning wherein students can apply their theoretical knowledge in practical world, all the teaching are case based with real life examples to make sure that students remain up to date with the recent trend in the industry. Faculty is great in terms of experience, teaching style, help, support and guidance.
Internships Opportunities
More than 100 companies visit our campus for hiring interns every year. Stipend ranges from 10000 per month to 150000 per month. A number of opportunities are immense, it depends on you, how well prepared you are. Projects are from a diverse background from Sales to IT.
Placement Experience
IMT Ghaziabad is known for its excellent Placements due to its strong Alumni Network. Most of the people who are part of Senior Management of many organization are Alums of IMT. This helps a lot as bringing companies on campus becomes easy when one person of the college already works in the company and that to at a senior position.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees in IMT is at par with most of the B-Schools which are part of Tier and Tier 2 colleges. The total fees if 22-24 lacs approx. which includes all the expenses of living on the campus. Financial assistance in terms of academic fees is provided to students belonging to EWS.
Campus Life
Life at campus id great as far as what we have heard from our seniors, due to Covid, the campus is currently shut, still, the level of exposure that the students are getting is immense. Every week there are webinars being conducted for the students to get more learning which is beyond their textbooks, Competitions are a regular part of the curriculum.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is great, includes all the basic amenities at the same time everything is well maintained and hygienic. The food provided in the mess is tasty as per our seniors. Rooms are available for single as well as double occupancy. For single occupancy, the price is a bit high in comparison to double.
Interview Experience
Typical selection process if followed by IMT which is similar to other B-Schools. WAT followed by a Case Discussion and then finally a PI. In order to get a call from IMT Ghaziabad, you need a percentile 0f 90 and above, in order to convert the call, 94 is preferable. More weightage is given to the CAT Percentile.
