One of the best college after IIT and NIT. The admission process is based on merit and performance in WBJEE or JEE MAIN examinations. The admission process is very easy and swift and starts after the results of WBJEE are released.
Course Curriculum Overview
Best Department, Excellent and experienced teaching faculty, Very good students teacher ratio: about 20:1. Most of the faculty members hold PhD Degree. The college thoroughly follows the MAKAUT curriculum and examinations. The faculties are very cooperative with the students. The difficulty levels in each exam range from medium to hard.
Placement Experience
More than hundreds of companies visit campus recruitments. 20 lakhs per annum are the highest package whereas 5 lakhs are the average salary. More than 80 students are recruited before the completion of their courses. An average of 110+ students receives placement every year from my department.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee is affordable. The yearly instalment is approx. 85k. Several companies offer internships to the students and students also receive good placements with moderate to very good packages. The course structure is very smooth and easy for students to improve in their respective fields. The college provides a special Value Added Training program every even semester to boost up the knowledge of the students about their upcoming challenges. The students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. The college starts to groom the students from or before the 6th semester.
Campus Life
TechFest, Avenier are the most famous and well known two fests which are recognised by the university and other institutes. Digital library with all well know scientific journals are available, NPTEL videos are available. Library hardcopy, as well as ebooks, are also available. All classrooms are sufficient space and light with PowerPoint projector available college encourage to sports and other extracurricular activities. The campus is not so big. There are several clubs and activities carried out by these clubs. They are formed and managed by the students themselves under the supervision of one or more faculty members.
