Remarks

Heard from many acquaintances that the college has great faculty and environment. Placements are good too. It is a renowned institution in Kolkata. The admission process is quite easy and the staffs help a lot. From the very first day, everyone has been very welcoming. Even in this pandemic situation, the faculty members have put in their best to reach us through online platforms.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science is one of the leading subjects in the industries now. There is a lot of opportunities in this field and various options to choose from in the future. So I chose this course. Our department has many efficient faculty members who are there to help us all the time. Exams and quiz sessions are held frequently for the benefit of the students

Internships Opportunities

Internships are offered on campus from the 7th semester. But the college encourages off campus internships. For that, they provide our value added training on needed subjects. They give us free enrolment for Coursera to complete courses

Placement Experience

Tsc, Wipro, cognizant and many other renowned companies give placements to the students. Almost 80% of the students get placed every year. The average package is satisfactory. After getting my degree I'm thinking of opting for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are affordable for most of the students. 42000 per semester. We are not charged any extra fee for other events. The college provides good placement for eligible students. The salary package is moderate to high

Campus Life

Our tech fest is called Avenir. Students from other colleges are also welcome to participate. Mesmerizer is the cultural fest held annually. A wide variety of books are available in the library. Many clubs are run by the students such as the photography club, Rotaract club, DSC club.

Interview Experience

I got admitted through direct counselling on the basis of my WBJEE rank. There were no other group discussion or interview or written test. We just had to go one day for document verification and admission processes.

BCREC a underrated college

Placement Experience:

The college average placement are 6 lakh per annum and in my branch out of 64 student only 30 God placement but the mistake is of the students because many companies are visiting our colleges but they couldn't find the talent required for the skilled person they required

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

The college is good for academics but there is no campus life.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average in the college. From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements. About 60% students get placed in the college. The average package of our college is 3-4 lakhs per annum and the highest package last year was around 13 lakhs per annum. I will choose to do M.tech after passing out of the college.

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. Placement is okay

I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
