To be honest, this college is the best college in Pimpri-Chinchwad. All Teachers, Professors and other staff members, work really hard in their own field. This college has a history of the highest package ever in Pune, which is 32LPA, which makes it a bit of focus of attention. As per my experience, there's just one con about this college, which is none other than, 'Attendance'. Now as per the rule, 75% attendance is a must for every college, no doubt about that. But this college always scrutinizes this aspect. But overall. this is a great college, you should definitely participate in getting this college. Hope you'll get it.
All faculty members are very friendly and helpful as well. They're doing a great job. Most of them are working for more than 10+ years now, this defines their affection towards the college. My course is basically, B.E in Electronics and Telecommunications.
This college has very good placements every year. During your third year, in between the fifth or sixth semester, you are eligible for placements. The placement can range from 2 Lakh and can go up to more than 10 Lakh per annum. 32 Lakh is the highest ever offer made. To date in this college, which is highest in whole Pune city by any college.
The fees are defined as per your course. In the case of B.E, for me, it's slightly over 1L per year, and it changes as per your course. But this college also has many Scholarships for the students who fall in other categories. For them it's just, I guess around 10K per annum. This is the best part of this college.
Life at the campus is great. Every year or even semi-year, the fests are held in the college which are very useful for students, for their CV resume, etc. The college has also a huge library, where you can find most of the books. Each classroom has a sufficient amount of benches, and it also includes a projector each. This college is also good at sports. It has a massive turf ground where students can play whichever sport they want.
DYPCOE is known for its placement. The college offers one of the best placement opportunities. Last. Year nearly 90 percent of students got placed. My plans after getting the degree are to crack the UPSE exam and become a class 1 officer.
It is around 6-7 Sem when students get ready for their placements with mock interviews and aptitudes with the help of faculties. Talking about CS we had the highest package of around 16Lpa and our average package goes around 4.8Lpa. Approx 92% of students get placed and others options for higher studies or start-ups. After getting a degree I wish to be in one of my dream companies.
The placement record of this college is very best. From 7th semester and From July month aptitude test of companies will be started. And a student with no backlog is eligible for placement. There are a lot of companies visited this college for placement like TCS, COGNIZANT, WIPRO, INFOSYS, BOSCH, and more than 50+ MNC companies. Packages are provided from 1 LPA to up to 20 LPA. Percentage of placement is 100%. College also provides a course like the value-added course, a foreign language like Japanese, german.
From 7th semester student are eligible for campus placement and T&P cell takes all maximum efforts on the student to get placed. 46 and more companies are visited and 448+ student places in 2019-20. Highest package is 10 LPA offered to the student and the minimum is 3 LPA. 90 percent of a student of all branches getting placements.
My dad chose this college for me, this college is a Govt Autonomous college, situated in a remote rural area in Raigad, it is the only college for the students in Konkan region, College life here is tough placements are less, the college is a govt college hence there are multiple scholarships and the fees is nominal.
There is a carrier development cell, which is common for all the departments. If u are in IT/CSE or Chemical you have a better chance at getting placed. The placement scene is less when compared with colleges in 1st tier cities like Mumbai or Pune.
I don't have any bad remarks for my college. My college has already started to give me so much which I might haven't got from other colleges even this being my very first year. I am totally impressed by college management, it's history, it's unique facts and it's achievements. Despite being a State Engineering college, CoEP has same values like an IIT. Also the college is situated in the heart of the pune city in shivaji nagar. Overall this is a very good college to pursue graduation from. Here one gets a very good experience of college life and academics. The environment here is very competitive and nurturing for individual development.
Our college has one ot the best campuses thouroughout the country and living in such a clean and green place motivates us to do well academically and even take care of our physique. There are a lot of sports facilities like basketball, swimming, squash, badminton, football, table tennis, cricket, volleyball, etc. If one decides to utilize the facilities provided by our college then college life can be a rewarding and fun experience. Our hostels are on a 3 sharing basis and this helps us develop a bond with our batch mates. The hostels are renovated every year and are very well maintained. We have fully equipped labs and the teachers are very helpful when it comes to mentoring with projects and research. Now coming to the negative parts of our college, it's located in Lavale, which is basically on a hill on the outskirts of pune, so this makes travelling to the city a tiresome task. The availability of cabs at certain times is also scarce. If you crave classy food in the middle of the day, the nearest 'restaurants' that are with going will be Atleast 40 minutes away. But there are a plenty of pocket friendly dhabas/shacks that have open right Infront of our college, the food there is also nice and is readily available to all the students.
I gave MHT CET 2012.I scored 130/200. I opted this college because it was in my mark limits and also because of its superb placement opportunities.
First we had our documents checked in ARC in the month of June 2012. After 1 st CAP round I was selected in VIIT for Mechanical Engineering. Then at the start of July I was done with my admission process. The administration was very systematic and helpful. Then in month of August our college started.
