Lovely years at LPU

Lovely Professional University is one of a kind. It is a wonderful place to choose for one enrichment and accomplishment of career growth. The high placement record is what made me prefer this university out of the other universities. Best Campus life, the best education, scholarships etc, are some pretty factors of LPU. The admission process is very easy. No difficult selection criteria at all, no cut-offs or anything. You just have to score 70% and above in the board exams and that's all you need. Collegedekho and collegedunia had helped me choosing the college.

Excellent faculty. The way of teaching and interacting is very enthusiastic. All the study material provided by them are very good and could be used for future reference also. They are very humble and friendly with the students. Most Faculties are PhD holders. LPU has recruited an excellent bunch of great professors and teachers from various part of the country. Both practical and theoretical methods are used for teaching. We have 5 Lectures and 1 tutorial for every subject. The exams are conducted twice every semester and we have 2 semesters per year.

For BBA, it is mandatory for us to get into a one year internship by the end of the 4th semester. Thus, the internships are provided by the university only. Summer trainings help us to have a detailed knowledge of on-field situations in the industry. The projects assigned during the internship plays a vital role in the placement drives, as by seeing the performance the recruiters would get impressed by the job we perform in the internship and would value our skill and experience and thus would help us get a better package.

The lovely professional university offers excellent placement assistance to students of all the course. But if to talk about my BBA, it too has a good placement record. Every year approx 97% of students get placed and the record only gets better with every year. But there are students who don't join the companies as they would like to continue their studies further. Giant corporates like, Wipro, Infosys, TCS and Reliance come to recruit talent from our university. After completion of my degree, I will apply for further studies.

The fee structure of every course is approx 1lakh 20k per annum with an examination fee of 2.5k per semester for BBA Hons. I had no merit to gain the scholarship advantage but with the help of LPUNEST (scholarship exam), I was able to get a 25% fee waiver in my course. Every student is given a chance to prove themselves and gain a scholarship. Not only in studies but other fields too has similar opportunities. The sportspeople have got better advantages like free residential facilities, free access to gym and stadium etc.

Our college makes sure that we don't waste our skill and time. They keep us engaged in so many events and activities which not only add fun but small skills also to our personality. After a tiring week, everybody needs a break and want to have fun. LPU let us have that too in a spectacular way by conducting various musical events, dance, drama, games and what not! OH, I just miss my campus days which this covid has taken away from us. But let's hope for the best, soon everything shall fall into place. I am a part of the Volleyball team in my college.
