Good aspects of my LPU include facilities like placements internships good staff etc. bad aspects of LPU include long waiting time, due to diversity if we have any problem we need to wait for a long time to discuss with LPU staff The admission process is quite simple as I've admission online so I know about online-only online admission includes firstly register in admit.lpu.in and need to fill the specific form like 10th certificate 12th certificate, date of birth certificate, etc and pay 10,000 as admission fees, I prefer LPU because of its value and rank also there teachers are friend full, I've used to search top universities in Punjab and LPU's name showed on top so through admit. lpu.in I started the admission process
Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in computer science and BCA is the perfect course for computer science student so I choose BCA in LPU also nowadays computer has a large scope than any other in my faculty-student ratio is very disappointing more number of boys are there than girls in my class there are approx 20 girls in 93 total students, Near about all teachers have done name started with dr. which means they have done phd and their teching method is very interesting than my school teachers a semester is divided into 2 parts midterm and end-term. assignments and attendence also play role in passing the end term are more difficult than midterm according to me.
Internships Opportunities
Complete assistance for an internship is provided by lpu summer training, study tours and on the job training companies like Microsoft cisco, etc are top internship various projects like the app, programs, algorithms group projects, communication, etc all things are kept in mind for projects outcome of the project will help us to increase creativity social network, etc
Placement Experience
In Lpu campus placement starts at the final or pre-final semester usually in July various companies like Microsoft, google, amazon, tata consultancy,meditab, etc, the highest package is 31 lakh per anum offered by Microsoft in 2019, and the average package is 7 lakh per annum. In 2019 about 93% approx students get placements after my degree, I'll build an app or can go into software development
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees vary from different courses according to my calculation my Full BCA will cost 270000 approx as per 45,000 per semester because I've gotten a Scholarship based on my 12th percentage marks so I've got a 35% discount on every semester fees. There are various type of scholarship available like LPUNEST, sports scholarship and many more also there is a facility of part-time job available in LPU which help a lot of poor students.
Campus Life
This year Anubhava 2021 will be held in LPU between 16 April to 25 April by SGTB Khalsa college, online and some of the major fests include one India held on march 29 30 31 any student can participate for free of cost. LPU has a large size library with more than 20 + lakh books and e-books also with 3000 rare books and many more classroom in lpu is open-aired and with a large whiteboard on the front with metal wood tables for students various types of sports available in lpu like football hockey handball swimming gymnastics cricket kabaddi boxing and many more to choose sports we need to pay an additional amount that is 4000 pr year student welfare club is one of the biggest social group in LPU also there are sports clubs.
