By a Verto of LPU

As I am from Punjab I know about the university very well. With every passing year, I have seen this university growing. What came to my notice is that they never settled for something small. They gave their best to provide a world-class facility to the students. I had already decided to join Lovely Professional University when I was in 12th std. I have no reasons for not going here. I am a localite, this university provides everything I need, the best infrastructure, world-class exposures, and whatnot. Thus I am a proud Verto of this prestigious university.

I desire to become a lecturer in a branch of management. So I've taken BBA Hons as my subject for UG. Mittal School of Business is the name of the management branch of LPU. It is one of the leading schools in India. The programs are ACBSP accredited. They got many tie-ups with foreign universities. The faculty members here are recruited by the Dean himself so that the best education could be served to the students. All the teachers take care of the students and mould them into future leader. Faculty here prefers both theory and practical knowledge advancement. During our tutorials, they train us by teaching soft skills etiquettes and always try to give more. Excellent teaching methods, study materials provided are also good. We have 2 exams per semester that are easy to pass-midterm and end-term.

Yes, my college provides us with many pieces of training and internship opportunities with really good organizations. Name some of them are- Amazon and Flipkart, Bajaj, TCS, Hindustan Times etc. For the students of BBA Hons, each student has to work under a company as an internee for the duration of one complete year. By the end of the 4th semester, they will become eligible for internship programs. Many skill development workshops also go on on campus. LPU summer training is one of the most known training programs by LPU. Thus, the college provides both, on and campus training to their students.

Lovely Professional University has the best and unbeatable placement records. For my course, BBA Hons, students are 100% placed. Due to its various tie-ups with the companies, they can provide the best placement opportunities for us. Some of the famous recruiters are Amazon, ITC, Times Of India, IBM etc. The highest package goes to 15LPA for BBA Hons and the lowest 6.5 LPA. The students become eligible for placement drives by the end of the 5th semester. To bag a high package one has to be out of the crowd and prove him/herself.

The scholarship schemes provided by LPU is so popular and praised by many great politicians. None other university practices such a big give away scheme. Rarely any student would be here who is not getting any advantage of these schemes. I got a 35% fee waiver on the basis of my 12th board results. There are various scholarship schemes that you can check out on the site. Some of them are- Sports scholarship, NCC scholarship, disability scholarship, Covid warrior scholarship, scholarships for extracurriculars etc.

I have not been to my classroom yet due to the Corona pandemic. But last month I have visited our beautiful campus and was imagining how fun it will be to spend evenings in such a pleasant environment with my friends. The parks, the roads, the auditoriums, the game zones, the eating zones, the Uni Mall, those big stadiums, the famous theatre, god, all of them are waiting for us and we are also missing them. Our campus is never out of activities. Something or the other has to go on. The celebrations of various festivals, a celebration of cultural diversities through colourful events are some of the most famous ones. There are 35+ social clubs and groups run by students.
