NIT Raipur, B.Tech, Electrical Engineering

Remarks

NIT RAIPUR is a government college. There are many opportunities in this college in many fields like sports, technical things, projects. As our college is also forward in innovations like agribot project. This is a robot that will work in the field. There are some faults too like in infrastructure, canteens, hostels. As hostels are not available for all the students. And if we talk about the admission procedures so this comes under JOSAA counselling. 7 rounds and 2 special rounds. My choice of preferring this college is because my home state is Chhattisgarh. I joined this college after counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose electrical engineering as I m interested in the core. So I preferred this. Faculties are good. Facilities are qualified from IITs and NITs so they guide us in every platform. Term papers are usually in April and November. It is not so tough as you can study one day before and pass.

Course Fees: INR 46600 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college gives many opportunities/ suggestions. And there is credit for the same. We had to do a 2-3 weeks internship. We can go in various fields like IoT, robotics, motor racing, coding - data structure and many more.

Placement Experience

From 6th Sem, you are eligible for placements. Infosys airtel much such company visited. The electrical highest package is 29 lakh and in IT it's 48 lakh. This year one of our senior got 62 lakh placement. CS IT 100% placement. I am planning to do M.Tech.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are generally higher for the general category. If you belong to below 1 lakh then it's like heaven you dont have to give money because there are several scholarships opportunities for them. Unlike them, it has nominal fees.

Campus Life

4.5

Life at the campus is awesome. As there is so much greenery in college. Eclecticka - cultural fest last year darshan Raval came conducted during Feb. Aavartan- technical fest conducted by technocracy during Sept. Samar - sports fest conducted by shaurya during December. E-cell - entrepreneurship fest conducted by e-cell committee during August. Several clubs like go green, sahyog, Abhinay, nitryam, etc.
