Talks about LPU

I have joined this university because - its unbeatable record of placements-atleast in UG BBA Hons, I can still expect to get a nice package from this university. The quality of education is brilliant. I dont think that there is any other university in the country which provides so many facilities with quality education. The infrastructure is so attractive, if I really have an option of other colleges like Amity, I would ofcourse choose LPU over it. The scholarship scheme has a great role to play as it helped me to convince my parents to send me this far. I prefered the LPU website to get the information about the college.

My course is BBA Hons. I desire to become a marketing executive so this course provides me with a more detailed outlook of the corporate world than what Bba provides. Student-faculty relations are very here (GREAT). The teachers are very friendly and have an open door approach to the students. They are very understanding and giving. The qualifications of all the teachers and professors are excellent I would say. Till now I haven't got a vibe that this teacher is not suited for this particular subject as LPU takes care of that in a special way and thus provides the best education with the help of all the teachers here. Most of the faculty members are PHD holders and excellent in their sectors. We have 2 semester's a year, in total 6semsters are there and every semester has 2 exams -midterm and end-term.

There are various training workshops offered inside the college. In addition to this, LPU's summer training programs are some well-known training program. For specifically BBA Hons students- the college places them under the companies for internship. It's for the duration of one year. This is mandatory for every BBA Hons student here to get into an internship by the end of the 4th semester. The names of some of the companies providing this facility to LPU are - TOI, TCS, HDFC etc.

The vertos of Lovely Professional University becomes eligible for the campus placement on completing their course. The University is strongly known for its placement records which are always high as compared to other private universities. The average package obtained by the students of BBA Hons is 9 LPA. Till now the highest package bagged is 15 LPA. about 98% of students get the placement. I want to appear for the placement drive and get a job first to collect some experience before going for further studies. Some of the big giants that come to recruit are- Amazon, TATA, Times of India, etc.

There are many scholarship schemes provided by the college to provide financial assistance to needed students as well as to deserving students. Atleast 1 chance is always given to the student to earn a scholarship. If a student has no past great merits or certificates to show, even they can get a chance to win one. Those students just have to appear for a scholarship exam, LPUNEST. On qualifying for the exam, on the basis of their marks obtained, they can get the % fee waiver. I got a fee waiver of 40% on my board results.

The cultural diversity of Lovely Professional University makes it stand out from the crowd. Just imagine, under one roof at every table people from almost all the states of India are sitting. Not only India but there are also students from 75+ countries in this college. Everybody has so much to learn and know about each other. Apart from this, there are also many popular events organized on the campus. My most favourite one is COKE STUDIO. Celebrities keep coming and meeting the vertos of LPU. LPU is a mixture of fun education. What I mean to say is, one can have fun while learning. This is like a small city and you would actually regret it if you go to another college and not LPU. Various cultural and sports events are conducted and hosted. I have not witnessed them yet so can't name them. But life on the LPU campus is bliss.
