About Lovely Professional University

I am from the steel city Jamshedpur. From my school, many of my seniors have been a part of this university that is Lovely Professional University. What made me choose this college is campus life. Yes, it really attracted me a lot. In addition to it, according to my research, the LPU campus is very safe for girls and because we have residential facilities inside the college, even my parents were convinced to send me there. The Management School of LPU is well known for its curriculum so without any doubt I applied to this university and have got admission. The college conducts two exams (Mid-terms and End-terms) per semester. My course has 6 semester- two semesters per year- therefore the course is of 3years. To give brief information about the faculty relationship with the students- I would actually love to say that our instructors are the best. By interacting with these wonderful people I feel so blessed to have them. Like our parents, they personally take interest in our subject development- if we are understanding stuff or not and all. None of the teachers here is partial. They love to communicate with us and have our feedbacks. They make sure that we are comfortable with the subject and even help us. Excellent faculty with excellent qualifications. It couldn't have been more perfect.

I just have a basic idea about the internships provided as I am in my 2nd semester right now. The names of major companies which bring internship opportunities for LPU students- Times of India, Canara, TCS etc. Extra to this, there are many summer training been conducted for the students to give them on field experience and knowledge. Several workshops for the development of students soft skills are also organized inside the campus. By the end of the fourth semester, the students become eligible for internship.

The placement record of Lovely Professional University is always a great one. Many big corporate organizations visit the campus to recruit students. To talk about the BBA Hons students- there is a record of 97% on-campus placement. The highest package offered till now is 14.5 LPA and the minimum package offered is 3.5 LPA. Some names of companies that visit and offers the students jobs are- Mahindra, HDFC Bank, TATA, Infosys etc. I will pursue MBA directly after getting graduated.

Through this platform, I would first of all like to thank Lovely Professional University for introducing these scholarship offers. These are like small blessings to the students (especially the ones who could not afford it). LPU gives importance to every kind of talent you have. Sports, Social Working, special allowances are also there for the students from military backgrounds and many more. I am so proud of this college as not every college has got the courage to provide scholarship to every student it can. And in this pandemic also, the college has got a new scheme for COVID Warrior's wards. This university purely takes care of every student across the globe, you just have to approach. I was eligible for a 40% fee waiver on my program fees.

LPU Campus is so famous across the world. It's not a university but a small town consisting of learners and teachers I would say. Specifically, the central library of Lovely Professional University is one of the largest libraries in the country. There are more than 30,000+ books and ebooks inside the library. I have not seen the classroom in person but I know that they are all air-conditioned and beautiful. The campus is well maintained. Some Highlights of the campus are- Parks, Auditoriums, the famous theatre, Uni-Mall, Uni-Hospital, various Eating Junctions, Residential facilities etc. Pre- Covid, the campus was never out of activities/events. Every day there have to be some activities going on in various fields, such as culture, parades, festival celebrations, events like- Jhoomer and coke studio, Bollywood celebrities concerts and a lot more.
