I couldn't think about any bad aspect of my university. They got an amazing campus with excellent faculty. Many students like me join the university because of the track record of placement success. Some parents feel that due to the drugs thing they do not wish to send their ward to Punjab, but the scenario is really different as the university is a drug free one and they got strict rules and punishments for the culprits if found (there are no cases as such). Thus I can see only the good aspects of this university. As we know that all these big cities like- Bangalore, Pune, Delhi etc, have a very high living cost! In comparison to Jalandhar, Phagwara is the more safe and peaceful city with comparatively less distraction and cheaper also. The education provided by all the universities and colleges of these big cities is the same or less than what LPU has to deliver. I came to know about this university through Collegedekho and later I used the official website of LPU itself to get more details.

I am pursuing BBA Hons from Mittal School of Business, LPU! I have a keen interest in the business field so I selected this course for my under graduation. Till now based on my experience, the faculty is excellent overall. But in the case of some of my teachers, I feel that neither they were from the corporate field nor had experience. Still, this is not the case with most of the teachers here, they are well qualified and most of them hold a PhD degree. We have a semester with 6 months duration. In every semester we have two exams- midterm and end term.

Companies like Times of India, TCS, HDFC Bank etc, are some of the companies which offer an internship to the LPU students. Every student of BBA Hons gets an internship by the end of their fourth semester. The projects help them to have industry exposure and face the on-field reality and learn to tackle them. the Internship duration is of 1year.

Lovely Professional University makes sure that its diverse student body gets known to a diverse community of recruiters also that they are offered positions with strong businesses going ahead with their lives. To talk about the 2021 placement drive, even during the cataclysmic resigns of covid19 the placements this year could not get any better. A few days ago, 11 talented students of LPU got into Amazon. The other giants that come to university for recruitment are- TATA, Axis Bank etc. The major roles offered are, Human Resource Manager, BPO Agent etc The highest salary is 10 LPA and a minimum of 4 LPA.

I got a scholarship of 20% fee waiver. I could have got more but because I took admission in the last phrase so I lost it still I am satisfied as anything is better than nothing! There is more such financial assistance that the university provides to its student. Everybody knows about the various scholarship schemes of this university but very few are aware of on-campus part time or full time job opportunities. With the help of these, the student can earn their own pocket money and try to become self dependent in terms of their personal expenses. Scholarships are there for sports, bravery, covid warrior, military background, etc.

The best part about Lovely Professional University is its infrastructure and the lovely campus. The entire campus is equipped with wifi. All kind of sports are available in the university and has big stadiums for each, like - swimming pool, cricket, volleyball, tennis, roll ball etc. They have world class security- 3000+ security cameras have been installed throughout the campus. There are many big and small events conducted in the college. I am waiting to be a part of it as the covid pandemic has restricted us from going to our college. Every classroom is equipped with an air conditioner, digital projectors and the labs are also well maintained with updated computers and other required stuff.
