Remarks

The college overall is good in terms of Infrastructure. It is because the number of faculties and also the quality and knowledge of the faculty members that the college stands in pride and gives wisdom to all its students. Alliance University is an extraordinary place to learn, to grow and to understand what Unity in Diversity actually means.

Entrance Preview

I opted for CAT, I scored 79 percentile and i opted for this college because the faculties looked promising in terms of education and knowledge and also because of the infrastructure the Campus offered us.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum in terms of education divided for 4 semesters was more than enough to start a research and develop your own instincts with the knowledge gained. So basically we covered all horizons within 2 years and the knowledge we gained was somewhat astonishing. We take pride in speaking out for our college when in terms of curriculum is asked.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, Our college does provide internship opportunities. The Companies came in for in campus recruitment in Internships and the stipend was basically not mentioned but a minimum pay for all the hard work the students put in was given. The college also offered Internships to students in various sectors.

Placement Experience

5

There was altogether a different department for placements and job named as career advancement and networking. The CAN was very much focused in the job of bringing companies from all around the world for all specializations. Can gets over a minimum of 200 companies to the campus to get 600 students placed with an average package of 5 to 6 Lac per annum. CAN gets the numbers increasing every year when the number of companies is considered with more job opportunities and more chances in the corporate world to make the University a hopeful place for the students.

College Events

5

The college celebrated almost all events equally and in a way the students can rejoice to for certain number of hours. The most celebrated events were Onam since the college is situated in South India in The State of Karnataka. Then all other events are subsequently celebrated in good fashion so that the students can take some time out to refresh themselves and enjoy for few hours.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In regards to the fees and hostel expenditure, the University is termed to be expensive. Though it is easily taken into account with the quality of education we receive, but the college fees is too much for a middle class family to bear to get their child educated and get them settled. The major competitor " Christ University" charges 9 lakhs as there academic fees for 2 year MBA programme where as Alliance University charges 14 lakhs. So there is a huge parity and we feel they should decrease the fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

As per my knowledge, the college does not provide any loan facilities or any scholarship facility. But they deduct fees for the students who are financially on the back foot and are high scoring in exams like cat and mat. Scholarships to students are provided who go abroad for a semester exchange.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is too good because of the infrastructure they provide. The campus has a food court, a mess, a gym, a temple and many places to chill and sit for a discussion with friends. There is a place where of many groups of students sit and study. The college also hosts sports events in football, cricket, chess, badminton, basket ball and every other sport that is well recognized. The University sets a benchmark on unity in diversity because students from all around the world come to be a part of the student life here.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The Hostel rooms were small, but were comfortable enough to stay for a single sharing or a double sharing. The only problem that was major to many students who considered hygiene as a factor was sharing of washroom between 2 people or 4 people. What needs to be improved in the college campus is the quality of food of the mess. The food quality is too bad and they dont provide varieties to the number of people staying there and having huge expectations because the hostel fees is too much.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the alumni network in the college is very helpful, and they have gained all sorts of momentum when connections to different companies is considered in regards to making the current number of students placed.

Exam Structure

The exam structure was very well formed by the Examination and Evaluation Department. They were very co operative and the exams schedule was very friendly to the hectic schedule the students usually have to face. For example, If we have to sit for the final semester exams then prior to the exams we would get a study leave of a minimum of 10 days and during the exams we would have an interval of a day or two in between the exams so that the students don't get pressurized during the exams and they don't go unprepared.

Faculty

5

All the faculties of Alliance University were always enthusiastic to teach the students and give the students more and more insights about the corporate world. The best part of all the faculties in the University was they prepared themselves for the class to be taken and they updated themselves with all the latest news anyways related to the subject. How this helped us this helped us in making our thoughts sharper and to have a better discussion in the classes further. Not only this we gained a lot of knowledge about the recent corporate world and their business strategies.

Since we are going into our 2nd year, our batch hasn't been through campus placement yet. Based on previous batch records, though, students are typically eligible for placements from the 4th trimester onwards, once internships are completed. GIBS had a strong track record, with over 200+ companies visiting campus, including names like Amazon, Accenture, Wipro, Mahindra Finance, etc. The highest package offered was around 20 LPA, and average package was around 8.3 LPA

The areas they have to improve is on industial visit shound done every 2 month not in 1 year. The teaching Method should be more didital. The Frequency and Timing of exam at 12pm noon . The ecam level is less difificult if you study.
