Remarks
I was a B.Com graduate from the same University so thought of doing masters from the same. In the admission process, we have one Lpunest test based on aptitude and followed the slightly difficult interview, all the admission process hardly takes 15 days. The faculty of this university is good and they give attention to every student especially in MBA.
Course Curriculum Overview
From my batch, the university is following trimester system for MBA and it is very hectic as in we just have 2 and half month with almost 9 subjects to deal with per trimester. The subject where although sensible accounting to the market. The faculty staff is really good in this university with experience not less than 5 years and pay attention to each and every student in the class, sometimes you will feel like you are in school. It is compulsory for every to atleast have a master degree and 4 years of industry experience. As the semester is around 75 day's end terms are most likely to happen after every 90 days.
Internships Opportunities
Times of India, OYO, Big bazaar, Decthalon. And others I was the one who always finds my own company for an internship as it gives me the option to work in my domain. The university provides internship options but I was never a big fan of that.
Placement Experience
From 3rd onwards company start coming for placement if I talk about MBA MRF, Federal Bank, Trident, Assin Paints is one of the top recruits offer up to 18 lac. According to the college record, they provide 100% placement but I'm not sure about that. You have to pay a fee of 9000 and buy a placement uniform of about 3000 to seat in the placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The MBA is getting costlier every year as the university as a brand is gaining value. You should always do a thought market check before getting admission to an MBA as in how much you are paying for the course and what are you going to get after the completion of the course. In this university, you can get up to a 40% scholarship by just giving their entrance exam LPU Nest which is not that difficult. I can't say much about the job as last year was in pandemic and most of the companies are not recruiting.
Campus Life
YouthVibe is the college fest which is usually one of the biggest fests in the university happens most probably in the month of December. A lot of other fests happen almost every month something happens in the university once you get in here you will not get time to participate in all of them. LPU has one of the biggest library in north India and provides access to alot of journals and papers. The classroom is all BYOD ( bring your own devices) having a Laptop with you is the best option you can not borrow from others all the time. Every department in the university has there own cultural clubs.
Interview Experience
For admission, you only go through an aptitude test and 2 round of interview. Technical interview - here you are tested on your market knowledge of how well you know the brands and the products you use in daily life. Soft skill - here you are tested on your personality. Have a good knowledge of the current affairs and the brands you like the most.
