Some talks about LPU

If one has to make choice among the private universities of India, in my opinion, they must choose Lovely Professional University. The world-class infrastructure, education, faculty, exposure etc are all way better than offered by the other private universities. Lovely Professional University conducts admission process in four phases, beginning from April and ending in August. For Undergraduate courses there are no PI or GD you have to give. The applicant just have to fill the application form, upload the documents and pay an amount to book the seat. Note- the paid amount later gets adjusted in your fees. I have been doing Bba Honors from Lovely Professional University. The name of our business school is Mittal School of Business. I aspire to become a Human Resource Manager, and in my 12th my stream was of humanities, so i thought BBA would be a good option. All my course instructors are very humble and encouraging. They always try to push us up in every possible way, without any scope of partiality. They got equal eye on everyone of us. They welcome every student to come and interact with them- an open door approach! The study projects and materials provided by them are very useful. All the teachers are excellent in their field of specialization. We have two exams conducted per semester. Every semester is for the duration of 6months, so we have 2 semesters per year. The level of examinations are easy to qualify.

Lovely Professional University, as it name suggests, prepare its student from the first day to become a professional!! Thus, they encourage students to enhance their skills and develop new skills in their college days by getting involved in summer training, on-job training, and internships. For every Bba Hons student its important to apply for an internship by the end of their 4th semester and work for a year. The internships are offered by the university itself to all the students. The major role offered are- HR Manager, Marketing Manager.

The students become eligible for placement by the end of their last semester. We are made to make choice between, On-campus placement and Off-campus placement. The students willing to appear in the On-campus placement can opt for it. This registration is done by the end of the 1st year. For Bba Hons, the highest package goes to 15LPA and the minimum is 5LPA. Approx. 98% of students get placed every year. The companies that recruit from IITs and IIMs also comes to LPU for recruitment.

By looking at the fee structure, the college just like the other private universities seems to be an expensive one. But wait! They offer a really good scholarship scheme for all the students, you just need to participate and you can get it. By participating I mean, they conduct LPUNEST, a scholarship exam- You can choose your subjects and sit for the exam (currently in online mode). For the sportsmen, if you do not have any certificate to show then you can also participate and show your sportskill to the coaches here to get the scholarship. The other schemes are- merit-based (board exam scores), sports (inter-school, state, national, international certificates), social working, cultural talents, and a lot more. I was eligible for 25% fee waiver in my course fee under a merit-based scholarship!

The Lovely Campus is never out of activities. Even in this online mode, they didn't stop it. They keep on conducting various fests, debates, celebrity interactions etc. Some to name are, LPUFreshermen, CokeStudio, Youthvibe and many more. Since I have joined the university, my Laptop screen has been my classroom but the platform in which they are conducting the classes is commendable- they are using Codetantra, which is a very interesting platform that actually provides quality learning experience. So dont worry about online and offline, just be a part of it, believe me, joining this university is worth every penny. Our classrooms are well maintained and fully air-conditioned. We have stadiums for all the sport-related activities and there are many scopes in sports and other cultural activities.
