Lovely Facts (BBA Hons.)

Lovely Professional University is a different world I would say! It actually has citizens from different part of the world and not only India. You will not get this world class exposure anywhere else. I am a sportsperson and also quite good in studies, so I wanted to get into an university that offered me both- high career and sport goals too. The admission process is very simple and straight. Upload your documents, fill up the application form, pay a refundable amount to book your seat and you are done.

As I have taken BBA Hons for my under graduation, so the name of my school is Mittal School Of Business, LPU. All our professors, teachers or instructors are well qualified and also has got many experiences. Their lectures are commendable and the support which they give are the base of every student here. LPU has got its 2most important apps which helps them to regulate the functions of the whole university. They are- LPU Touch and LPU Live. LPU Live is a private messenger accessed by all the staff and students of LPU. LPU touch is an app used for University Management. All the important notifications relating to placements, events, teacher's on leave, results etc, are displayed there. This initiative has gained a lot of praises from top managements and professors across the country. The exams are scheduled twice a semester. There are two semesters per year.

From our second year onwards our field training begins. We are suppose to work under a NGO for minimum one month to gain some experience. This is known as Community Development Project. Other than this many on job training facilities are present inside the campus and the students can apply. All such training initiatives are important for the students to build their practical knowledge and skill. By the end of our 2nd year (BBA Hons) students get into an internship for 1year under the organizations. University help the students to get into one. The highest stipend earned this year was INR 80,000. Major roles offered are of an analyst and managerial posts.

Companies like, Bosch, Amazon, Microsoft, Bajaj etc visit the university for recruitment every year. LPU students have always got the highest number of offers every year. 99% of the BBA Hons students got the campus placement with a good salary package. The highest bagged package was 14Lakhs per annum and lowest 3Lakhs per annum. I am going to appear for the placement drive and get a job before applying for my MBA.

I got a C grade scholarship on my sport certificate. The advantages included- 25% fee waiver, free gym and stadium facility. There are more such schemes available for the students. LPUNEST is a scholarship exam conducted to give a chance to the students to gain more fee waiver by scoring good marks in it. Thus, university make sure to provide at least one chance to its every student. Appearing for this exam is optional for the students. All the schemes are valid on the complete course. And there is no such record to be maintained to continue the scholarship or renew plans. Scholarships are available on many fields, sports, cultural, social activists, and many more.

The covid-19, has created a mess in every college life. We are made to sit at our home and it has been 1year already! The campus never used to be out of activities. There was always something or the other going on. Even in the virtual mode it has not stopped, but its not the same anymore. There were so many celebrities visits, concerts and fests were conducted which were so great!! Coke studio, Youth vibe are two of the most well known events of LPU. There are game zones, unimall, parks, gym, hospitals, stadiums etc, in our campus.
