Remarks
Good Aspects: 1.Infrastructure is pretty good. The software and hardware both types of labs are present here. Classes are well furnished. 2.Teachers are well educated and kind towards students. 3.The college is best proactive in case of extracurricular activity. There are almost 10 clubs like photography, literature, music, dance, art, quiz, robotics, automobile, coding & sports. Every clubs have their activities throughout the academic year. 4.The placement stats are also very enthusiastic. More than 80% of students get placement after completing the course in different MNCs. Bad Aspects: As it is a Govt college, the process of changing the old equipment with the new one is time taking. So most labs have old machines. The companies that come here are only IT companies not the core company. Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the course because the quality of the teachers in Electrical Engineering is very good and the chances of higher studies are very high in this department. Faculty-student ratio: 1 teacher for 30 students. The teachers are highly qualified. Most of them have done their PhDs from top universities of India and abroad. One or two of them are in the top 2% of researchers in India. The method of their teaching is great. They take exams are completing one or two chapters and solve the doubts of everyone. The semester exams happen in 6 months. The internal exams happen every month and quiz and class tests happen each week.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement from 7th semester. NAME of the companies - Google, Microsoft(1),TCS(80) ,CTS(120) kriti, Infosys(20).. Highest package - 40lpa Avarage - 4.5lpa Percentage of students getting placement - more than 80%percent. My plan is higher studies
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure - 3480 per sem for EE ME 6480 per sem for ECE 12000 per sem for CSE, IT The fees are very low and fixed and are free of any extra money. College also offers scholarships. There is various type of scholarships named SWAMI VIVEKANANDA MCM Scholarship (Rs.60000/yr) and OWESIS(Rs.18000/yr). The college also offers scholarships for half and full freeships in hostels. More than 80% of students get placement each year in Microsoft, Google, TCS, CTS, Kriti, Infosys, etc. Highest stipend - 40lpa. Average - 4 to 5Lpa
Campus Life
Name of the Annual fest - Espektro, Tech fest - Techtix...It happens in starting of March. Sports - There are intra and inter-college tournaments in cricket, football, TT, badminton, and others sports. The college also participates in the sports events of other colleges. The college is proactive in extracurricular actives. Hostel Facilities
The hostel also provides decent quality rooms full of light and air. The meal quality is not the best but decent and value for money... It includes chicken fish egg and vegetables. Students have to book their hostel rooms while taking admission to the course. Taking a hostel is not mandatory. But if anyone wants to book a hostel room he has to book it at the time of admission to college.
