Remarks :

Good Aspects: 1.Infrastructure is pretty good. The software and hardware both types of labs are present here. Classes are well furnished. 2.Teachers are well educated and kind towards students. 3.The college is best proactive in case of extracurricular activity. There are almost 10 clubs like photography, literature, music, dance, art, quiz, robotics, automobile, coding & sports. Every clubs have their activities throughout the academic year. 4.The placement stats are also very enthusiastic. More than 80% of students get placement after completing the course in different MNCs. Bad Aspects: As it is a Govt college, the process of changing the old equipment with the new one is time taking. So most labs have old machines. The companies that come here are only IT companies not the core company. Admission process and date - WBJEE, 18.5.2018 Reason for preferring it - Brilliant faculties, Decent infrastructure, quality study, good extra curriculum activities. Name of website- wbjeeb.nic.in

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose the course because the quality of the teachers in Electrical Engineering is very good and the chances of higher studies are very high in this department. Faculty-student ratio: 1 teacher for 30 students. The teachers are highly qualified. Most of them have done their PhDs from top universities of India and abroad. One or two of them are in the top 2% of researchers in India. The method of their teaching is great. They take exams are completing one or two chapters and solve the doubts of everyone. The semester exams happen in 6 months. The internal exams happen every month and quiz and class tests happen each week.

Placement Experience :

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure - 3480 per sem for EE ME 6480 per sem for ECE 12000 per sem for CSE, IT The fees are very low and fixed and are free of any extra money. College also offers scholarships. There is various type of scholarships named SWAMI VIVEKANANDA MCM Scholarship (Rs.60000/yr) and OWESIS(Rs.18000/yr). The college also offers scholarships for half and full freeships in hostels. More than 80% of students get placement each year in Microsoft, Google, TCS, CTS, Kriti, Infosys, etc. Highest stipend - 40lpa. Average - 4 to 5Lpa

Campus Life :

Name of the Annual fest - Espektro, Tech fest - Techtix...It happens in starting of March. Sports - There are intra and inter-college tournaments in cricket, football, TT, badminton, and others sports. The college also participates in the sports events of other colleges. The college is proactive in extracurricular actives. There are almost 10clubs like photography literature, dance, art, singing, quizzing etc. Club names and groups - photography - Shutterbug Literature - Litmus Dance - elysium Art - chitrank Music - Riyaz Quiz - Less quizerabale Robotics - KGEC Robotics Society Each club have their own Facebook and Instagram pages

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel also provides decent quality rooms full of light and air. The meal quality is not the best but decent and value for money... It includes chicken fish egg and vegetables. Students have to book their hostel rooms while taking admission to the course. Taking a hostel is not mandatory. But if anyone wants to book a hostel room he has to book it at the time of admission to college.

Placement Experience :

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. They are offered by companies to be in internships and complete their degree. Big companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Samsung, etc visit the campus and offers a good amount of package for students who give best interviews and have good cgpa. The highest package that was offered to a student of computer science was more than a 1 crore package. The average package depends on the respective branch which is most of CS, then electrical, mathematics, etc. Mostly ll the students get above 15 lakh package in all core branches. Almost 90% of students get placed from in-campus placements, other those apply for companies that do not come to the institute. I will go for campus placements after completing my degree. I want to work in India so I can give something to my country.

Placement Experience :

Placements are pretty good for noncore branches. Around 75-80% of students get placed every year. Rest of them goes for higher studies or start their own business. My short-term goal is to get a job first and gain experience. After that, I want to start my own company.

Placement Experience :

The placement of our college is increasing every year. Since being new IIIT, we have got our permanent Director this year, this would definitely increase our placements stats for sure. Taking about the current scenario, We have the highest package of 17 LPA by JIo and an average package of 7.8 LPA in (2017-21) batch. About 80% of students were placed.

Placement Experience :

Campus placement is good in our University. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Amazon, HCL, Flipkart and many other MNC come and take almost every student. Students from last year are eligible for Campus Placement. The highest place is from the year 2018 i.e 27 Lacs. The boy was placed in Amazon and If we see through the average Package then it is around 6-7 Lacs per year. I too decided to get placed with a handsome salary.

Remarks :

There was a balance between the positivities and negativities of my college. Some of the negatives was that our college campus was too small, the batch size is also small, the infrastructure was not up to mark etc. But the positives were as the batch size was not that large we use to have good communication anf co-ordination among ourselves, fee was very much feasible, faculties were up to the mark.
