Remarks

98% was good experience. The management staff can improve on their patience with the students. The 2% bad experience belonged to 1% of bad food and 1% of the highly impatient office staff.

Entrance Preview

There were no entrance exams during my admission days. I opted for Electronics and Communication engineering as I will be eligible to choose IT/core companies for my future endeavours. I opted for this college as it is quite nearby to my place and my brother studied here as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It was a good knowledge gaining course, with applicability of mind and far better than being a book worm. I would strongly recommend students who want to take up engineering to go for it as they would gain good technical knowledge which would keep their future secure.

Internships Opportunities

When I was at college there was no internship as such. Hence, I would not be able to comment about the experience.

Placement Experience

5

The placements are amazing. We had Infosys, Wipro and igate recruiting at our college. I got placed and Infosys and around 250 people from my batch were placed. The package for a fresher is just beyond expectations. I'm truly happy about the placements the college had to offer.

College Events

4

My college conducted symposiums regularly. They also encouraged us to attend the symposiums conducted by other colleges. We celebrated almost every festival regardless of the religion/state we belonged to. There was national integrity in our college which we loved.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very much feasible. Other engineering colleges charged exorbitant rates, but our college provided the same education with a much cheaper fee. The learning was not compromised anywhere due to the feasible fee structure. It is anytime better than other expensive colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm not aware of any such thing. As far as i know, there were no scholarships or loan facility offered by the college.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life was an irreplaceable experience to be cherished for a life-time. Students from different parts of India were my classmates and it was great to get to know them. We had cricket, chess and badminton that was highly encouraged. Lab facilities were good and the technicians were very helpful during exam time.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I was a day scholar and hence i have no idea about the hostel facilities. The food was the only huge let down for me. The quality of the food and the menu definitely needs to be improved. If the college could provide better food, then without any doubt it would have higher reputations.

Alumni/Alumna

Many of my seniors are still friends with me. They used to share their books with us and now we do the same for our juniors.

Exam Structure

It was not chilled out and neither was it too hectic. Engineering as its own tough days and we actually enjoyed it despite all the exams and labs. The staff were very supportive in the labs and we gained a lot of theoretical as well as practical knowledge.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty in my college was excellent. To quote an example, there were several tamil medium students who had joined in this college. The staff would take extreme care in repeating the entire subject in Tamil and English just to make sure everyone understands completely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
