Entrance Preview

AIEEE, I got 64 marks out of 200. I was not having any good option other than BRCM CET. So I chose this college only. And That was my best decision I could ever have.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Like I have already opt for Computer science & software engg. Course content was according to University standards only. And from point of view, content & course structure was according to old defined structure. There could be much better than that. Because If I talk about current industry standards, we don't use that knowledge practically.

Internships Opportunities

When I passed out from My college, there was no such internship programmes.

Placement Experience

2

In 2011, placements & opportunities was not so good. But TPO did his/her best. Because of that only, 20 students of 100 students who appeared for placements got placed well. Companies name for which students appeared are Infosys, wipro & two or three new companies.

College Events

4

We celebrated various technical events Enigma, Techie Revolution etc. & many Cultural events like Hip Hip Hurray, Shaam Mastani & management festivals like Diwali, Holi etc. Yes, students participated actively in those events & some of those events were like inter college events & so as full of crowd as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I didn't hear about any loan facility offered by our college. There was a scholarship program from our college side to go for a training program in US but total expense was from student side which I could not afford as it was really expensive from perspective( two & half Lakhs which was about half of my college fee)

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratio was unequal as there were more of Male students than female. In all extracurricular activities, labs, sports, competitions, students took part actively.Quality of all amenities provided was really good except placement & college fee ( which were not really good).

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network & senior students were always helpful. They always helped us to pave a path towards a good career.

Exam Structure

Exams & labs were always hectic. So, during Test exam, lab practical exams & final exam students were always busy to study hard & clear out them with good marks/percentage.

Faculty

3

Faculty was really good. They did their best. And I think faculty is only factor who could define our future. And they really did their best, thats why I am at such nice level in IT industry.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Remarks:

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it
