MMMUT, B. Tech

Reviewed on Jan 13, 2021(Enrolled 2019)

Remarks

During the time of admissions, I consulted with my seniors and teachers from which I got to know that MMMUT has made great recent advancements and there is a good environment of senior-junior interaction. The university also conducts timely events throughout the year and it has good on campus and off campus placements. Also, it also has an affordable fees ( Rs. 1,10,000 per year) and overall it was the best option for me among other colleges in which I got selected. If a student can't afford to take a drop year depending on his/her circumstamces, then its a good college to get inducted in.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I had the intrest to get knowledge in the field computers so I chose it. Some of the faculty members of the main subjects are really good and helpful. The term exams had a mid sem minirs and end sem majors exams. Its not that difficult to just pass if you study a week before exams. But to get good grades you have to make sure to study well and give importance to the subjects having 4 or 5 credits.

Class Size: 86Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th semester you can become eligible for campus placements. Many good companies as well as start ups visit to hire students. Mass recruitment companies like TCS also visit our university. Students having good skill and knowledge in computer science have a higher chance to get placed.

College Events

Annual Tech. fest - TechSrijan held in odd semesterCultural fest - Abhudyay held in even semesterAll types of books are available in our universiry library ranging from course books and journals to other competition exams books. There are many technical as well as, social groups run by the students committee intudcted in that club or society. Some well established and working clubs are Robotics Club, IEEE and SAE society, E-Cell, Social Engineers Board, and few more.

Campus Life

4.5

The university got a football ground, basketball ground as well as a large university sports ground where all the sports events are held. The wifi-facility is great and we are provided with the high speed data. The data limit is approx. 10gb / per week which is sufficient enough for all the needs.

Hostel Facilities

The room is provided with a bed, an almirah, a study table to each student in the hostel. 4 students reside in 1 room. Hostel is alloted according to the academic year and the branch of the students. The mess quality is overall average but it is affordable with the mess fees being Rs. 12,000 per semester.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam
