More clinical exposure,one of the top 10 medical colleges.it is a renowned medical college over india and one of the oldest colleges in india and andhrapradesh.Andhra Medical College (AMC) is the oldest medical college in Andhra Pradesh and one of the oldest medical colleges in India. It came into being on 19th July 1923 and rapidly acquired national attention as a center of higher learning in medical education

I like this course,enough faculty, highly experienced faculty,Last year, the teacher-student ratio was increased in government medical colleges, but from this academic session, all medical colleges can assign three students per professor at the PG level,

There will be a medical examination before admission a basic health check-up. There will be no specific interview before admission after you clear out meet

College Events

Hostel was good,many extracurricular activities like fests,rotaract clubs on so.on.Sports ground and gym will be available in the hostel. Every year Oct or Nov there will be annual fest. Apart from it there will girls and boys hostel tests during Feb or March. Classrooms are air-conditioned, there will be a screen for PowerPoint presentations. Library, air conditioned, well equipped. All books will be available for an undergraduate course. There will be many social groups and clubs yearly based.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The internship will be in KGH hospital. One year of compulsory internship. 20k stipend will be paid. One can also work in private hospitals once you finish the internship.

A place where learning meets memories, frindship and growth.

Likes

Good learning environment and campus life and i appreciate the supportive management and the opportunities. available for students to participate technical activites intership and other oppertunity.
The Lab facilities are excellent, and they provide excellent, Knowledgeable, supportive and approachable.
The college provide placements support and opportunities to attend recruitment drives, student also get guidance of placement.

Dislikes

More Practical and industry exposure is need
they only allow to the student to get permission.
give the opportunity for all students, i think give the opportunity the merit students only.

Placement Experience:

The college provides campus placements opportinities, with students generally becaming eligible i the final year. Placements drives are conducted by diffent companies, and more ever Deloit is the one of the best for PACE and we got the second place in that. After completing the degree i start my carrear in software improve my technical skills.

I like the facilities provided by the college like labs.
I like the placements provided by the college. Companies are too good.
I like the education quality and practical explanations

Dislikes

very often we are unable to get cooling water. but within two minutes it will be covered.
management is giving equal opportunities to everyone . What I felt is they should concentrate on toppers.
college management won't allow students to go out side of the campus without permission

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities in my college are good and provide students reasonable career opportunities Approximately 70% of students got placed in the campus recruitment. Apart from on campus drives management encourages students to enhance their skills and gives suggestions in applying out of campus drives.

Better facilities for the students like digital screens , seminar halls.
Infrastructure for competitions like coding, hackathons is good and supportive environment

In this college there is a chance to apply for the companies like product based companies and service based companies like hcl , deloitee , TCS, Infosys , gramax and some companies and non IT companies are recruiting . Deloitte has recognized the pace as second position in recruitment position as a cyber security professionals

I like that every faculty in our college supports and encourage each and every student to get placed. I also like the Training and Placement Department because they regularly organized aptitude, communication, technical trainings .
I like the innovative teaching method in our college, where we undergo with different activities that makes us to understand the concepts in an easy way

Dislikes

Network issue in college environment as well as in hostel

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from the 3-2 semester with pre-placement training, aptitude test, coding rounds and interviews. Companies like HSBC, Prowess soft, ADP, Infinite computer solutions and many more companies visited the campus for recuritment. The average package is around 3.5 LPA while the highest package is 16.43 LPA in 2026 and varies each year. I was selected by Infinite Computer Solution in 4-1 semester itself with a package of 4.5 LPA. After my graduation, I plan to build my career in software development and enhance my techinal skills.

There's nothing really left to like ....
The University has multiple types of degrees and courses present but low placements
The university is really a huge and vast place but unclean

Dislikes

Dirty washrooms, no hygeine,no maintenance
Old and unclean hostel rooma, worst infrastructure
Unclean mess food , no hygeine, toxic...

Placement Experience:

The campus placements of this college are partial, there are not really best offers made to this college but just average and the average package could be around may be 20 k?. I could say not More than 30 percent of the students aren't offered placements.

the campus is very good as it is build newly. sports facilities are very good .Nets are provided separately for practice
the professors are supportive and we can meet them in their respective cabins if we face any academic difficulties
fests are very enthusiastic and promotes talented individuals in the campus

Dislikes

the campus is located in a backward town
there is a language barrier as telugu people don't speak a good english
food is not good on the maximum days . north indians feel very diificulty in eating south indian food

I got civil engineering in my college. As our country is in developing mode the role of civil engineers is going to be crucial.The interdisplinary subjects prepare us for the challenges faced other than civil engineering.each month we have a exam to be specific 2 minors 1 mid term and 1 end term examination.the difficulty level is somewhat moderate.If we thoroughly go through teachers's notes and practice a few problems it is going to be very helpful

From 3rd year onwards a student is eligible for the placements highest package is 10 lakhs. companies like FactSet, TCS, Wipro etc will visit to hire our students. my plan is to study abroad after my studies.

I only applied for this college firstly. I chose this college because of my sister. I want to stay close to her. And also by her review about this college. I was remarked that AMC is best college to study clinics. This is the first college I got selected and since I want to join here I didn't applied for other colleges. To join any MBBS college you should first write a written exam called neet. A national test to join MBBS. Every age group starting from 17 years and every caste are eligible to write this exam. A Glimpse into Excellence: Review on Andhra Medical College, Vizag

MCC conducts counselling for admission into all medical colleges in india through AIQ. In choice filling I filled AIIMS Mangalagiri and then this college, I couldn't get AIIMS mangalagiri even after scoring 690 due to rank inflation this year, My All India Rank was 3336. So I choose this college. I refused to join in other peripheral AIIMS due to lack of patient load , and other state colleges due to language barrier You have to qualify NEET exam to be eligible for admission in this college. The cutoff varies every year and the closing rank for Round 3 AIQ General category is 11182 and For state quota is varies depending upon the regions( there are 2 regions here AU and SVU) . Andhra Medical College - A Tale of the Triumph

To get into Andhra Medical College, one has to write a National Level Entrance Exam called NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). Eligibility criteria include a minimum age of 17 years and at least 60% aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology in the 12th Class. Once the exam, an All India Rank will be generated and the candidate can apply for Counselling (either All India Councelling or the Andhra Pradesh State Councelling). If alloted to the college, one has to report within a week and confirm the admission by submitting all the required documents and medical fitness certificates. There are 250 seats available of which 15% seats are available for the All India Quota Students, while the rest are filled by Andhra Pradesh State Counseling.
