Remarks

There was no bad remarks at all. I think this was my best college life that i passed recenltly. I had enjoyed my days with my faculties and friends happily and unforgettable .All of my friends were just amazing. All the things were best in this college.

Entrance Preview

I had passed through JEE entrance. I had selected this college bcz it was in my nearest location and of its best score.

Internships Opportunities

Many more companies were came to our college and there package was also best in industry. The stipend was also good for internship. TCS, WIPRO, MICROSOFT, JINDAL, TAA STEEL, IDCO, PPLC and manymore companies came to our college.

Placement Experience

Lots of companies i had attend in my college and there ctc was also affordable.Many MNC companies were also came to our college. Tcs, Wipro, Exide, Amaron, Tata Steel etc.

College Events

Many more events were happened in my time. There was must a event in a week.We all enjoyed the events. There was cricket match,cultural programs, ramp shows and many more to enjoy.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As the college given fqcilities the fees were not more i think.Each and every facility u found there. Its study materials, lab eqipments everything the college provided to us. So i dont tjink that the fees were more.

The college had offered loan schemes nut i had never availed the scheme but listen from my classmates.

Campus Life

The campus life was non forgetable and i cant explain through words.In hostel there was always a party day to us. We enjoyed all the days happily. In workshop there was lots of things to learn and we also learn.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities were best from other colleges. Well maintained rooms and beds were also large and there rooms were always neat and clean. The food preparation was also fantastic. I will never forget those hostl days which i jave passed through.

My seniors were always respected for me bcz they support me in each and every steps. I never feel alone bcz of them. There was no ragging in our college. So everyone were like friends.

Exam Structure

The labs were very clean and lots things to see in our lab. The lab technician was also very talented one he teached also thoroughly. The exams were just chilled out.

All of my faculties were best supportive to us and friendly also. They always support in beat by beat point. They always completed the courses in the perfect time. I will never forget there sacrifices for us.

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Likes

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

KIIT Overview And The Reality

1.Like i did not apply so many colleges but i got selected in my state government college in it branch but i did not go there becuase there not so many companies comes for placement and internship and there not a much opportunity 2. REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
