The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled with a high-speed internet connection. For the agriculture course, we have more than 20 labs with newly bought hi-tech equipment imported from abroad. In classrooms, we have good facilities. For our department, there are many books in the library that we need. In our course curriculum, we have theoretical concepts. More practical classes are held than theory classes. As electives and core courses we are studying various other departments. In the final year of the course, we have practical projects.

VIT syllabus is more related to practical application in work with different methods of teaching. All teachers here are masters and PhD holders in qualified university. The course curriculum is related to ICAR. The course curriculum is easy for students interested in agriculture. Faculty get a lot of interest to teach the subject of the syllabus. Faculty give notes on agriculture and allied sectors. Faculty teach by PPT method for beginners, which is very useful. I choose this course because agriculture is one of the major department in India. Now it is developing well, and also it is marketable. It is also easy to get a job in this course compared to others. In VIT college, a lot of campus events and festivals conducted. Pity Gravitation and Hackathons are the major popular events in VIT college. VIT conducts all campus interviews online, and the college provides opportunities for pot painting to students.

VIT assured jobs to 120 students of 2022 pass out. VIT is famous for the quality of education and placements. The salary package offered is by companies is Rs. 15,000-2,00,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Sinsinta, Rasi Seeds, Monsanto. The top role offered is an AO. The package offered in our course is Rs. 1,00,000 LPA. Almost 50% of the students got an internship.

The fees are a little high but the standard of education is also high. You can say that Bsc agriculture at VIT University is good. There are good labs and field for practice based learning. The faculty also really good. It's affiliated with Tamilnadu Agricultural University (TNAU). Since it's affiliated with to state Agricultural University, there is no issue with ICAR. But also, remember that they have just started the course in 2018. Good placement opportunities in agro-based companies would be difficult. You can consider better options. They have a program called STAR which will account for rural students.
