Lovely Professional University (BBA Hons)

I don't think if there is any bad aspect of this university. All of you are already aware of the quality of services Lovely Professional University provides. It's a pack of great college years with the best education facilities. I wanted a brand name for my career and so I chose LPU over the other institutions. Their admission process for undergraduates is not a complex one. Fill the form, submission of documents and pay an amount to book or confirm your seat in the college. Note- the amount paid during the admission process is refundable. It will get deducted from the first semester fees. So everything is fair and nothing extra is been charged.

The faculty of Lovely Professional University is really good. They are very supportive and encouraging people. Whether it be academic or extracurricular, you will have their back always. Lovely management has developed two apps for their convenience. One is LPU Live, it's a private messenger app used by all the lovely faculty and students. With the help of this app, the student can reach their course instructor at any time of the day. We can call it an open door approach also. The second is LPU Touch, where the students and teachers get an everyday update about the university, events, placement drives, notices etc. I am a Bba Hons student who desires to become an analyst. As I wasn't from a commerce background earlier so I chose to do BBA. We have 2 semesters every year, and every semester has 2 exams, midterm and end term respectively.

From the second year itself, the internship programs begin in our university. All the students of BBA are made to work under an NGO for at least a month as summer training. We are asked to prepare projects which will later be presented before the recruiters. Apart from this, by the end of the second year, all the BBA students are offered a year internship (provided by the university itself), which helps the students to get a practical knowledge of the corporate world before their placements. EVERY EXPERIENCE COUNTS. Therefore, all these initiatives by the university prepare the students to bag higher packages. Last year the highest stipend got to a verto was 85,000(INR). Mostly the roles offered are managerial posts.

The registrations to appear in the campus drives begin just after the end of the first year. 100 s of companies visit the campus to recruit talents. More than 500 offers are been given to the vertos from the best companies. Recruiters lists include- Bosch, TCS, Mahindra, Microsoft etc. The top companies which recruit from IIMs and IITs also recruit from LPU. The percentage of students getting placed is 99%. The highest package a BBA Hons student grabs is 15LPA and the minimum is 6LPA. After I complete my degree, I will appear for the placement drive and would love to have some experience before my higher education.

The fee structure of LPU may appear you a really expensive one like all the other colleges. But always know, that they have various fee waiver scholarship schemes and you can take the benefits. They provide scholarships on merit based, sports, social, cultural, covid frontline warriors etc. And if you are eligible for none, then they also conduct a scholarship exam known as LPUNEST. If you cross the minimum required scores then you will get the fee waiver. I got a fee waiver of 35% on my program fees. It was given on my 12th board exam mark sheet (merit based).

The LPU campus is always full of events and activities. To name some annual fests- Youthvibe, Freshmen, Spectra, DYC etc. They have a separate student running organization for the purpose of conducting various events. Many celebrities stars have been visiting campus to meet the students. Lovely Professional University's Central Library is one of the largest libraries in the whole country. They stock more than 30,00,000+ books as well as ebooks, A HEAVEN FOR ALL THE READERS. The classes are well maintained and digitalized with updated technologies. All the classes are air conditioned and there are many auditoriums inside the campus. They have large and well equipped stadiums for almost all the sports of the country. The swimming pool of LPU is the same size as of Olympic swimming pool. Other sports include volleyball, basketball, roll-ball, cricket, etc. We have many student running clubs and organizations on the campus. Examples- Developers of Technology, DYC etc.
