Insights of SKIT

I am a second-year ME student in SKIT. Personally, i never knew that private colleges can be this good as SKIT has been till now in a matter of studies. I remember the day i came here the first time regarding admission. I was selected on the basis of my JEE-MAIN score and got my desired branch through REAP RAJ online process of admission. During the admission process, i was given a detailed tour of my college premises and about various courses and activities which take place in this college. During my school days, i have always been a pro-active student and i am glad that this institute provides a similar platform. The discipline rules are quite strict here. It's also an Anti-Ragging college. If you are a study-dedicated student then SKIT is the best place for you as compared to other private colleges in Jaipur. All the faculties are well experienced and have vast knowledge therefore doubt solving is best. Most importantly SKIT has Ranked #1 as "RTU's best college" for 3 consecutive years!!!

Internal Exams are quite easy to pass and get good scores but only if you attend classes regularly and give proper attention to what's been taught. College notes are well-sufficient for clearing End-Semester exams. The best thing about this college is you only get marks of what you deserve and what you have written in your exam paper. Here, marks are never given on the basis of impression like in other colleges. If you study regularly and practice questions then exams will never be an issue for you. Also, doubt solving is very good here. The teachers are very friendly and are ready to help.

I have no knowledge about stipend internships provided by my college. However, general internships are there in vast number. Also, after every even semester, every student is bound to be a part of a technical internship and certain marks are been alloted on the basis of that. Last year the college provided TCS internships to all second-year students. Projects are made by final year students, major projects till now has been Drone, Robots, Car manufacturing, etc...

After graduating from this college, i want a decent job also my plans are for further studies in my subject and get a decent job. Last year the highest package was 10 lakhs that too of my friend from Electrical Branch. Placement rates are quite good here as compared to other private colleges in Jaipur. Also, more than 900+ companies come every year for placement rounds. From the 6th sem, every student becomes eligible for sitting in placement rounds. The company's which mainly visit are mostly IT companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc. They take approx 200-300 students in every round.

I didn't apply for any scholarship. However, fee scholarships are available under special conditions. Study and score-based scholarships are not available here. The cost of study is quite reasonable as compared to other private colleges in Jaipur. The fees is affordable and the study is also very good. The best thing is the college cannot increase it's fees as per they want, fee structure is all decided by RTU-Kota itself. In case if you have issues with the fees then you can pay it in various installments after contacting the administration cell. Also, the most awesome thing is, SKIT provides job opportunities for students who want to earn while studying within it's campus so you don't have to go anywhere else.

In SKIT there are more than 32 registered clubs, for example Toastmasters Club, SAE club, ASME club, IE Students Chapter, Robotics Club, etc...Apart from this, there are many cultural and social activities club like Docu-drama club, Music Club, NSS club, EBSB club etc. So, overall there are various opportunities for you in this college. And you can be an official member of as many clubs as you like. Talking about websites, yes, there are many social media platforms run by the students of this college. Also, there are various websites which are run only by the students to provide updated information to other members of this college.
