BBA Hons at LPU

I am from Punjab and believe me, there is no other university in Punjab better than Lovely Professional University. If you are ever confused between any of Punjab's college vs LPU, then it's my personal suggestion to you to join LPU. It will be a great decision on your part. I didn't apply under any quota for admission. I am pursuing BBA Hons from LPU. The basic criteria to get admission in BBA Programmes are- 1) 70% above in both 10th and 12th, 2) a12th graduate can only apply for the same. The admission process is quite simple. You just have to fill the application form, submit the required documents and pay an amount to confirm your seat. Please note, that the amount paid is refundable- which means, it will get deducted from your first semester fees.

I wish to become an entrepreneur and so I made this choice of studying BBA. Now let's talk about the faculty of Lovely Profesional University. The lovely faculty is the most hardworking set of people inside LPU. They are the one's who deserve kudos from LPU students and management. They are the reason behind LPU's great success. Our instructors are very understanding and frank people. They are always available for use in times of need. When we are far from our homes, it's our instructors who become our support system in this new place. With the help of a private messenger app- we can contact our instructors at any time. Every teacher here is well expertise in their fields and most of them hold a PhD degree. We have 2 examinations conducted every semester and every year we got 2 semesters. The level of exams is moderate.

In LPU, for every BBA student, it is mandatory to get an internship by the end of the second year. LPU itself provides the students internships under various organizations. In the year 2020- the highest stipend offered was INR 89,000. Some names of the companies which offer internships to the students are- Bosch, Bandhan Bank, IBM, TCS, etc. The roles offered are mainly of a Marketing Manager or HR Manager. During the classes, the students are taken to industrial drives to give them the required exposers. All the projects made during the experiences are recorded and presented in front of the recruiters during the campus drives.

For BBA Hons, the student become eligible for placement by the end of their fifth semester. More than 600 companies visit Lovely Campus to recruit the most potential people for their company. Lovely Professional University has got big placement records which are unbeatable till date. The companies which recruit from IITs and IIMs also come to LPU. 99% students get placement every year. The highest package a BBA graduate gets is of 11LPA and lowest is 6LPA. In my field, mostly the managerial posts are offered to the students. I am appearing for my placement drives in 2023.

Lovely Professional University's fee structure only appears expensive but it is not. The various scholarship schemes are offered by the university to the students which provide them with some financial assistance. University campus follows a western pattern- they have part-time job opportunities for the interested students inside the campus itself which also provides some small assistance to the students. I am under a 25% scholarship scheme. I was able to get the scholarship based on cultural merits which I achieved during my school days. There are more such schemes - Sports, Social work, Merit (board exams scores) etc.

Let me begin with the classes as it is very important to know about the room which is going to be a life changer for you. LPU classrooms are fully air-conditioned, they have the latest smart classes installed in their rooms and even the laboratories are well equipped. The central library of LPU is one of the largest libraries in the country. A campus with diversity is a great exposure opportunity to the students as many top recruiters think that it is very important to be diverse in nature and thus LPU students are filled with that. There are big stadiums and gyms inside the campus for fitness lovers and sportspeople. To name some events held in LPU- Spectra, Youthvibe, DYC etc. Let me mention that the LPU campus is never out of activities. Lpu has got many student running organizations registered under Student Organization Cell. The campus is well maintained with almost everything a city should have- Mall, Hospital, etc.
