Remarks
I had applied in various colleges and reason for selecting skit was, it has comparatively better infrastructure and It is one of the leading colleges in rtu. The admission process like in most of the other BTech colleges is based on jee percentile and boards percentage.
Course Curriculum Overview
They conduct 2 compulsory midterms along with practicals and one optional midterm. The level is not that hard and one can pass by completing all the assignments and studying some important topics thoroughly.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are average. Teachers here are very helpful and will guide you in every single way. One can apply for an internship by themselves or else college will provide you options. They make many courses available free for students on platforms like coursera so that they can learn more
Placement Experience
Placements for cse, it and ece are good although the package everyone gets solely depends upon the student's hard work because although placement here for students of cse is 100% most of them get hired by mass recruiters and if you want high package placement you can sit in interviews of companies like byju's or you can apply off-campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition Fee is average but some students face the problem and submit their fees through an educational loan. College provide some scholarships to the students according to their merit Hostel facilities on other hand are not worth according to fees they take.
Campus Life
Campus life here is not so good especially if you are a girl and live in a college hostel, as they are not allowed to roam on campus after 7 pm and condition become worse in winters as curfew time reduces to 5 pm. Talking about the fest, it conducts an annual fest pravah and it is great opportunities for those who are really interested in different activities. Clubs and social groups are managed by students and some of them are active and provide platforms to students. Library is good and it provides various books related to academics and literature it also has a digital library for students who like to boost their knowledge
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities to be honest is not so good according to the fees they take. Girls don't have the option of single rooms. They can either have double sharing or triple sharing rooms while boys enjoy the pleasure of private single rooms. Mess food is a total mess. Breakfast and lunch are comparatively better but dinner condition is bad.
