The Integral story

I applied for IIT- Jee, my state entrance exam UPTU and AIEEE entrance and Integral University. Since the reviews from my teachers and friends about this particular university were good so thought of taking admission here. There is an entrance exam by the name of IUET which is the Integral University Entrance Test this will include questions of physics, chemistry and maths after qualifying which a person is called for the counselling which is held on the campus of integral University Lucknow. The candidates with good scores and ranks will get a chance to chose their branches and so on. The candidate is supposed to come with their guardians to attend the counselling.

Since I ha Physics, chemistry and maths in my 10+2 I had to choose fields related to science and I was very much interested in doing engineering since it was a very fascinating field for me an then I had a keen interest in doing so chose for BTech I computer science and engineering. There is a ratio of 1 teacher on 45 students. Most of the faculties are Mtech and Ph. D holders with good knowledge of their respective subjects. There are two mid sem tests before the main semester exams whose marks are added in the final exam results. The exams are conducted in the fairest way possible.

After the 4th semester, the students are eligible for the placements and they are also given aptitude and personality classes. The companies visiting the campus for recruitment are TCS(Tata Consultancy Services), Deloitte, Yes bank, CSS corps, Airtel, ICICI Bank, HCL and many more. The highest package was around 6 lacs and the lowest was around 1.5 lacs. 80% of the students were placed in my batch which is a good number. I also got a place in one of the MNCs and was given the offer letter. The location of joining was Chennai.

The fees structure is quite reasonable when compared to other colleges of the state the fees will amount to around Rs. 600000 if somebody wants to opt for hostel and mess then he will have to pay additional amount. The scholarships on the campus during the time when I was doing my course was for students who have availed quota under some category.

There was an annual cultural event by the name Fiesta and an annual sports event by the name Aaghaz and with this there we technical quizzes Robo war and many more. There is a huge library by the name of Central Library the library has a very cooperative staff the students are also given the facility to search journals and papers online on the computers set up in the library along with this there is a huge collection of books. The classrooms are airy and made in the way that they could be called lecture theatres with well equipped facilities for the smart class as well. The sports department is there for students with most of the sports material needed such as volleyball, hockey, cricket, football, table tennis and basketball.
