About Lovely Professional University

I took admission to Lovely Professional University in July 2020. It was during the last phase of the admission, therefore I lost some percentage of benefits because I applied in the last phrases. Don't do this mistake. If you want to apply then apply in the first or second phrases for maximum scholarship benefit. They conduct the admissions in four phases- from April to August and sometimes till September. The eligibility criteria to get into a BBA program is - the minimum marks in board examinations 70% (both 10th and 12th). LPU has no GD and PIs for BBA Candidate so it becomes easy to get into the university. One just needs to fill the application form, submit the mandatory documents and pay an amount to confirm the seat. Please note that the amount paid in admission is refunded back by deducting the amount from the first semester fees.

Lovely Professional University has several branches inside the campus. Thus for the Management students- Mittal School of Business is the name of the Management Branch. The framing of the curriculum has been done in such a way that the student becomes a world citizen. They follow Industry Oriented Curriculum and is ACBSP accredited business school. The Mentors follow Innovative Teaching Pedagogies. LPU runs with time and thus has some exceptional facilities for its students and faculty members. Every student and faculty and other members have got access to LPU Live - a private messenger app exclusively made for the students to get in touch with the mentors in no time. The mentors in their part are also active and available for their students. Maximum faculty holds PHd degree. The study materials provided by the instructors are very useful. We got two examinations per semester- Midterm and Endterm. The level of the examination is between moderate to difficult.

Lovely Professional University believes in skill enhancements. They got many initiatives inside the campus for their students to build their skills like- Summer training, Part-time Job opportunities etc. Besides this, at the end of the second semester, it is mandatory for all the BBA students to get into an organization as interns and work for a duration of 1 year. The university helps its students to find and join the organization. The CDP projects assigned to us in our second year also plays an important role in the placement. All these experiences play a great role in getting maximum packages.

Lovely Professional University is known for its great campus placement records. After the first year, the students are made to register for on-campus placements. The curriculum has allowed the students to gain experiences in various fields. Top corporate giants visit the LPU campus every year in search of the best employees for their organizations. The companies include- IBM, TATA, Reliance, Hyundai, Microsoft etc. In the BBA branch- every year 99% of the students get the placement in top MNCs. The highest package offered is 15 LPA and the lowest 7 LPA. I am appearing for the placement drive after I get my degree.

As mentioned earlier, because I applied late I got comparatively less fee waiver than what I deserve. The admissions are open for 2021, through this platform I would like to inform you that please apply as early as possible to get the maximum benefits. There is a scholarship exam conduct by LPU- the name is LPUNEST. This exam is optional but if you wish to get a higher fee waiver then you should apply for the same. Other schemes of scholarship include- SPORTS, CULTURAL Achievements, SOCIAL Achievements, Merit-based etc. They got 45%, 35%, 25% fee waiver respectively on various achievements. I got a fee waiver of 25%.

Throughout the year, the campus is never out of events and activities. With the help of several students running organizations, the university successfully conducts rocking events inside the campus. They got a lot of opportunities for all the students. Some popular events include- Spectra, Youthvibe, Fishermen. The campus has big stadiums for all the sports played in the country. With the best coaches, the university has achieved so many awards in sports. For gym lovers, the university has also got GYM facility inside the campus. Many National and International Sport events are also been host by the university. The Central Library of LPU is one of the greatest libraries in the country having more than 20,00,000+ ebooks and books.
