Fancy and Worthy-Galgotias University

I applied to many great colleges I could. I applied to Krishna Institute of Engineering Technology, Delhi Univesity, Indraprastha University, and many more in Delhi and Greater Noida. My main reason to take admission to Galgotias University was its placement that ensures 96 percent or sometimes 100 percent. I didn't avail any Quota just got admission by my grades. The minimum age for this program is 16-17 and for admission, it's not that much if you have scored an average or good marks you can directly get admission here. I guess the minimum marks for admission is 60 percent that seems to be a bit low. During my admission, the whole process was done in an online method due to the Covid pandemic time. I just filled the required application from the University's website and waited for confirmation when I got the confirmation I had to submit 1st-year fees i.e. Rs. 1,60,000 before the start of classes and another Rs. 1,60,000 in my second semester for 2nd-year fees in advance. That's the whole procedure.

The exams are like monthly there are 3 Continuous Assessment Tests every month's end and then after two or three months, semester finals are taken that is External Test Examinations. The faculty for CSE is quite good than expected and it's easy to communicate with each of them personally there were some management issues due to the Pandemic but everything was taken care of. CATs are comprised of 30 marks with 10 MCQs and they are easy to qualify if you had just listened to your professors in the classes and notes and study materials are provided for further help and same for ETEs. The syllabus comes from what you were taught. Nothing's out of course. Examinations are quite easy and helpful for year finals.

Talking about projects and outcomes, as a first-year student I can't say much about that but the thing is we get to learn new software and programming for our projects and our specific faculty help us in that for perfection and precision. There are patents and stuff so that students can get one step ahead in their life and learn new skills and abilities to write some in their resumes.

In student's views, there is never a plan it's your destiny. Everyone comes here to get a good placement and job with fame so that they can continue their further life easily and that's the same for me. It's a whole four years for one degree what do you think the students expect from themselves, they are just trying to do their best nothing else. All of their future is in their hands.

The fee structure is the only and the biggest disappointment for me because the yearly fees are Rs. 1,60,000 and yet they took 1st years and 2nd years fees in advance in my only 1st semester. That sums up to Rs. 3,20,000. For average families, no concussion is there and two weeks time is given to pay the fees or they will ban your classes and also start putting fine on the days you delay your fees. That is totally wrong in my view.

There are many clubs and societies like dance, reading, music, songs, instruments, essay, and speech, etc. But again due to the pandemic, everything was shattered and no clubs were made for all the students of our university. And even I couldn't approach any club head for my participation. I can't blame them it's just the situation that's not right.
