Entrance Preview

I gave the JEE Mains examination in the year 2014. My score was 200/360, which along with my CBSE 12th percentage of 95.0% gave me an All India Rank of 7393. The main reason I chose this college was that 1) It's a college of national importance and pretty renowned. It is also among the top 3 NITs in the country.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is pretty good. For my particular course, the research options are really interesting. The electives for our course include Nanotechnology, Nuclear Process Engineering, Fuel Cell Engineering and Corrosion Engineering.

Internships Opportunities

Yes my college does provide internship after the completion of our Third Year. Major companies like ITC, Reliance, Sterlite etc come for internships and the usual stipend they give is around 30,000-40,000 per month with ITC being an exception giving 75000/month.

Placement Experience

4

Placement percentage is very good. All the people who apply for on- campus placements, 99% of them are placed. Companies like Dr Reddys, Technip, ITC, Reliance, Hindustan Unilever Ltd etc are few of the may companies which come for placements for my particular course. Packages given by these companies vary from 6 lpa to 17 lpa.

College Events

4.5

Our technical fest goes by the name Technozion which is usually held in the month of October. It is a fun-filled fest with many college students pouring in from nearby and far-off colleges. The college becomes very lively at this point of time. All events conducted are based on a technical theme.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible. A approx amount of 35000 INR is charged for tuition fees every semester with the hostel and mess fees varying with different messes and hostels.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is awesome. Extracurriculars ranging from sports to singing to dancing, everything is promoted. We have clubs such as Photography Club, Quiz Club, Literary and Debating Club and many more. All these clubs aim at promoting their namesake activities and they are pretty good at it.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel rooms are really good. Different hostels are allotted to each year with the same hostel being allotted for 3rd and final year students. The second year hostels are very clean and feel very homely. The first year hostel is supposedly one of the best hostels across India with its overall capacity being more than 1800. The third year hostel is also really good with its overall capacity being around a 1000 students or more.

Exam Structure

Exams are very frequent in NIT Warangal, with at least one cycle being conducted every month. We have something called the Minor Examinations for each subject for 10 marks each, one before the Mid-Semester exams and one after. And to top it all, we have our End-Semester exams for 50 marks each.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is much better as compared to private colleges. The amount of enthusiasm and knowledge they bring into the classroom is amazing. All of them are highly qualified to teach their respective subjects and highly knowledgeable in that field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course is relevant because we are not just studying theory all the time. Along with regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects and problem solving which actually feels useful. It feels like the course is designed to help us build skills that we will need later not just clear semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

Before joining I thought it would be like any other engineering college where we just study for exams. But after coming here, I felt it's a bit different. We do have theory classes, but there are also coding sessions, projects and assignments almost every week. Sometimes it gets a little hectic but I think it's actually helping us learn better. The syllabus feels relevant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has been a nice mix of theory and practical work. We don't just sit through lectures all day there are coding sessions, projects, assignments, and hands on activities that make the subjects easier to understand. It feels like you are learning skills that you'll use later. One thing I noticed after joining is that the classes don't feel the same every day. Some days are regular lectures while on others we are working on coding problems, assignments or small projects. That change keeps things interesting.

I think IN-campus Placements are the best thing that this college may offer. This is one of the top college in Telangana so almost every top company gives a chance to this college companies like Cisco, Insfosys, TCS, Cognizent, Accenture and many more. The highest package is 34LPA last year 2024, and the average is 7LPA i think.I think almost 60 to 70 percentage of people get place in the companies.I plan to get place in the top most comnmpany in the Telanagana after getting degree.
