Remarks

My university was accredited with NAAC Grade A in 2015 which reflects its overall status. Student exchange and knowledge sharing programme with foreign university and also ranked within Top 100 universities in India. A quality world class technical institution fostering innovation, which confessed me to take admission in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

My institute provides industry oriented education with upstream, midstream and downstream structure. Industrial visit and exposure to field based experience are integral part of curriculum. Also high qualified teachers provide ethical demonstration and application of knowledge.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 865000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes I have opted for Internship of 2 months with stipend of 23000/month with IOCL. Where I worked for Petro-chemical industry with challenging role in refinery process dealt with various technological equipments.

Placement Experience

Placement efficiency in my batch was nearly 93% with various companies like ONGC Videsh, OIL, IOCL etc. Average salary for our batch was 7lacs while highest one with 9.5 lacs. Placement offered from 7th semester to students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure includes total of 8.65 lacs for 4 years period. Scholarship opportunity is also available to meritorious and financial needy students. Students can also opt for various Govt schemes as provided by Central and State Govt as well.

High quality library facility is provided by my college. Sports club, Dance club, Sci-Mat club available for students also. Annual cultural Fest is organised for overall entertainment. All sports equipment for varius games is provided by authorities for holistic development.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is very good with 24x7 security and fooding facility. Fee for hostel is variable according to AC/Non AC rooms. Every students is provided with a bed, chair, table and almirah with attached washroom. Food served in our hostel is also good quality with diversified menu.

Admission

There was no Interview or GD for admission. The admission process is simple based on selection. First of all apply online through institute website and then shortlisting will be done on the basis of marks obtained in JEE. In case of student without JEE scorecard the 12th class mark will be considered.

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

i liked my campus life especially the academic activities in which we were participated , commercio fista was organised by mba students where we installed our own lil shops in the campus and earned
we went for the industrial visits like mother dairy delhi, SEBI noida, KPMG and our batch got so much industrial exposue in my time
Our classes was full air conditioned and for mba students we have sepration seminar hall also we have incubation cell for the new start ups

Dislikes

strict rules for attendance, it should be 75 percent or above

i have done my graduation in 2024, in my 3rd semester placement was started that time our tpo was rajvardhan sir , i called so many companied in the campus for the placement finastra was one of then, i have cleared 3 rounds of finastra 1st was apptitude, then technical round then PI with HR in delhi office in feb 2024 i have got my offer letter and then july i have joined finastra just after my final exams got over, RIT and expecially members of placement are very proactive about their work , after 1 year in 2025 i went again in rit for the alumni meet my experience in rit was very good

I appreciate the infrastructure and learning facilities available on campus, along with peaceful environment of Dehradun.

Dislikes

The placement process could be made more transparent by providing students with more regular information about placement opportunities.
There is scope for increasing practical and industrial oriented exposure through more guest lectures and interactions with industry professionals.
Coordination and communication regarding some academic and extracurricular activities could be improved so that students recieve information well in advance and can plan their participation accordingly.

Placement Experience:

The college provides campus placement opportunities with students becoming eligible in the final year. Various companies visit the campus for roles in marketing, sales, management and other business related profiles. The placement cell also supports students through placements drives and career guuidance. Along with campus placements internships and industry exposure help students improve their employability. After completing my BBA, I plan to persue a career in digital marketing and gain practical industry experience.

The surroundings are really appreciated .But the only negative thing is tiediness in the campus
My college is very simple and its going in very smooth .Campus gives good feel to the students.Here people from out of state is also there so socially also it is good.

Holistic Review of MBA at IIM Kashipur

Likes

It's a student run campus which means that important decisions regarding students are taken by the student bodies.
The campus is beautiful and lush. The architecture of buildings are well though of made to keep buildings cool during summers and hot during winters.
The campus is very happening. Several cultural events occur.

Dislikes

As the town Kashipur is not very developed, there is not much of metro-city life or such amenities
The boys to girls ratio for core program is 4:1 and the opposite for the analytics program which makes the class interactions disproportionate, It should be uniform.
You can't order food from online platforms here as the city is remote so one has to resort to the options present on campus which turns out to be pretty limited in number and quality.

Placement Experience:

As soon as the second year starts, companies start coming for placements. These include ICICI bank, Wellsfargo, Genpact, Amazon, TresVista, Havells, TVS, Tech Mahindra etc. The highest package goes around to be 40-50 Lacs while average is around 14-15 Lacs. Almost all get placed while the rest opt-out from the process either for off-campus offers or pursuing higher education.

I chose this course because I have done my graduation in Statistics so this Masters's course has improved my profile and given me better opportunities for my career growth. Faculty are well experienced. Professors have done PhD in their domain and have a good amount of experience. Term exams are semester-wise twice a year. It is easy to pass if we study on a daily basis.
